Look like BD boys won the match by 6 wicket.

Zim 206/10 in 49.4 ( Kamrul 3 for 37, Noor Hossain 2 for 29 )
BD 208/4 in 45.5 overs ( Mominul 63*, Anamul 52 )

Anamul and Mominul guide Bangladesh home
Cricinfo staff
November 13, 2009
Text size: A | A

Bangladesh Under-19 208 for 4 (Mominul 63*, Anamul 52) beat Zimbabwe Under-19 204 (Mazhawidza 77, Chirimuta 51, Kamrul 3-37) by six wickets
Scorecard

Bangladesh Under-19 took a 1-0 lead in the five-match ODI series against Zimbabwe Under-19 with a convincing six-wicket win in Khulna. In pursuit of 205, they were boosted by a collective display, as each batsman chipped in with contributions towards the victory. Two that stood out were wicketkeeper Anamul Haque (52), who set the tone for a successful chase with an opening stand of 76 with Saikat Ali, and Mominul Haque, whose 80-ball 63, laced with six boundaries, guided his team home.
Zimbabwe's below-par score was a result of a collapse in the death overs, where they lost seven wickets for just 42. They were in a position to build a more competitive total, as half-centuries from Dean Mazhawidza (77) and Gary Chirimuta (51), had taken them to a strong position at 164 for 3 - the pair had added 110 for the fourth wicket. But Kamrun Islam's economical spell of 3 for 37, and support from the other bowlers, stopped Zimbabwe in their tracks, giving Bangladesh an opportunity to seal a comprehensive win.

The first time the majority of our boys have been out of the country so i will take that as a decent start to make over 200.

Bangladesh are one of the Kings of under 19 cricket so we are just looking to show improvement over the 5 matches.

Bangaldesh are my tip for the Under 19 world cup

Thank you dear Zimfan bro, only your love, good wish and support can get any BD team to some glory!

But for this BD-Zim U-19 series in BD, we all should also remember that a lot of the Zim U-19 regulars are not part of this touring Zim team due to their school finals and exams. But even in this depleted Zim team it does look like they have some good top order batsmen and specially this D Mazhawidza† wicket-keeper batsman guy! He is scoring good in every match since he arrived in BD.

Zimbabwe gave a real scare today. We were down to 47/6 but funally managed to win the 2nd ODI by 1 wickets to take 2-0 lead in the 5 match series.

Are the boys getting tired? Too much cricket?

It's good for the team to come through some close matches. Gives them the mental toughness.

wow that was close!

It looks like the Zim u19 putting up a better fight than the English u19 and their not even at full strength!

Well played Bangladesh, there seems to be a developing trend of winning by one wicket and actually finishing off these tight contests which is great to see indeed..

23 runs in the last wicket stand. New chapter with these boys as well but this time done by bowlers.

After today's match it clearly evident that too much cricket has played so far for the boys. Boys are playing continuously from the tour to England. I see no point of playing a 5 match series against the ZIM U-19 rather it should be at best 3 matches .

Felt sorry for the boys. Bad planning to still keep the boys on toes. I hope everything goes well.
