Well, some milestones most of these players can reach in this NZ series.

But others have no chance. For example, Khaled Mahmud will not be involved in test match cricket, so there's no point in waiting for Mahmud to reach the milestone of 500 runs. In addition, the wickets of Bangladesh will not be pace-friendly (if our groundsmen do make them pace-friendly, then we won't have to look for milestones, we'll be utterly frustrated to see our batsman going down inside 180 odd runs or less in each test innings.), so there is no chance for Tapash to getting to the milestone of 50 wickets in the coming New Zealand series.

Other milestones, are pretty get-table this month, provided that we play well in this NZ series. Because if they can't, then they're on their way to getting dropped.

However, there are some minor things, like for example, I don't believe Mohammad Ashraful can score 202 runs in just 4 test innings, or Mohammad Rafique to score 125 runs in 4 test innings.

On the other hand, if Javed Omar, Khaled Mashud, Rajin Saleh doesn't reach their mile-stones of 1000 and 500 runs in this NZ test series, our batting will be a lot more disappointed than we're hoping it to be. Plus, if Rafique can't take those 4 wickets to get to 50 wicket-land-mark, there goes our chance for a hope of a draw.

That means, Tapash has to take 50% of the total NZ wickets with an average of 5.5 wickets per innings. Tough target.

Rafique will definitely get his 50 wickets. Tapash has no chance
If Ash and Mashud can get the 100 runs and Omar definitely will get his Bangladesh will be posting very high scores.
Rajin will get his 500 and if Rafique can then the tail will have to wag.
Mahmud wont play another test ever so he wont build on his 266.

Khaled Mashud is the first Bangladeshi player to score 1000 runs in ODIs.
He has scored 1112 runs from 82 ODIs with a batting average of 17.93 having four half-centuries and 75 dismissals (59 catches and 16 st.).

He meant to get 1000 runs as well as 50 wickets. An allround performance none achieved before in BD

Khaled Mahmud has already got 54 wickets, what he needs is to score 177 runs in 3 ODIs (if he will be selected for all of them) with an average of 59 runs per match, which does not sound realistic for him.

Realistic milestone

I am seeing ashraful pulling it off quite easily.

As far as chacha reaching his milestone if he gets to play; he will probably pick up 6 runs instead of 266.

Good call rassel i dont think Chacha has any chance of pulling it off. Omar, Rajin will definitely reach there milestiones. as will rafique for his 50 wickets.

Best of luck to everyone who are near to their personal milestones.

Here a small Team Milestone from me:

Can BD earn their 2nd well-faught draw in TEST match vs. the NZ's to make the voice of BCB stronger when they sit for next upcoming ICC evaluation meeting... where BD and ZIM's recent performance will be evaluated while ICC is double minded about letting the two most bottom-ranked teams restrict their series on home grounds only ???

Let us all wish and pray for the team for that also!!

Yes a drawn test series would be perfect. It would also get us off 0 in the test championship table.

3.Mohammad Ashraful 19 Match 798 Runs needed more 202 Runs To reach 1000 Runs
To make 1000 Runs in two test Mohammad Ashraful should take the average of 50.5 for inning

If Ashraf will be attentive and plays with concentration, I believe he can do it, he has that capability.

inshallah rafique will get his 50th wicket and more. i hope bangladesh can get nz all out within 300 runs. and then when bd bat i hope they play very slowly. i dont care if the over rate is less then 1 as long as they stay in the wicket.
