I am less inclined to be so critical of Mushy. He's the only reason we are even playing on Day 5. And if Tamim wasn't so grossly incompetent, then mushy would have more rest and not have a brainfart. But yea, drop tamim, imrul, mullah, and have shakib bat 8th.

How about they play the next few rounds of BCL. Obviously Tamim and Riad won't be available, Shakib might be in PSL too, which doesn't help.

However they already made commitments, Mushy, Sabbir, Soumya, should be playing BCL.

We have done this previously. The History says one of the two things will happen:

1. The new comers will suck at first which would result more heart aches and losses. You same people will call for their heads and then ask the current seniors to come back. Case and point: some still long for Fool babu here in this site. Some want Alok. Good thing the other AAA member retired, otherwise there would a call for him as well. There will be statistical warfare here in BC.

2. The upgrade is minimal. Fans of the seniors will continue be critic of the young ones. Others would ask for time. SL is going through the same phase. We went through the same phase with Mushi.

There is less than 1 month before the SL series start. No one should get any NOCs.

In the test formats only senior player that needs to be dropped ASAP is Mahmadullah.

With Tamim, a gradual phase out has to begin. Also Mushfiqur needs to hand his gloves to someone else as he now gets cramps easily.
