I really wanted to say well done Gayle but for some reason I dont even feel like it. Maybe its because of Shak or maybe because of his denial to play for WI and chose IPL over International cricket....

but i think he wont do too well in the next matches. gayle and many other new age west indian stars have a very inconsistent performance curve. short attention span. i guess aro 2-1 ta bhalo innings khelbe, but he wont be a consistent performer.

Doesn't matter. Its only 20 overs match. Quickfire 30 will do good for his team

yes, but i doubt there will be too many quick fire 30s. thats what i meant by consistent. quick fire 30s are consistency in T20, and i believe gayle wont have too many of them. Gayle exploded a couple of times for kolkata before, but didnt perform well overall in 3 seasons.

I thought we were congratulating him for his wonderful knock.

Love him or hate him, it was one of the best T20 knocks. He averages over 30 in this format. With 2 hundreds and couple of 90s.

Aren't you eating your words now?

He has been in some sort of form. If only WI selectors come to their senses
