A grand total of 1 run!!

Losing by an innings in two sessions is much less painful than losing like this after giving hope.

We didn't lose by an innings. That is a big achievement. I'm happy

This cannot be real, I bet the Tigers cannot reproduce this colossal F#$k up even if they were paid for it. This is utter rubbish......this is what will kill the love for the team for millions of passionate Tiger fanz. Seven wickets for 22 runs....

I am literally lost for words. In the back of my mind I always thought a collapse like this was possible but I laughed at myself when I thought about it. Hey, that was the Bangladesh from 2003, not now.
Blah...

Okay one or two thoughts as I bid goodbye to the forum.
Bangladesh cricket team has now been given test status for some time now. The disappointing part is not the loss, but the fact that the have refused to learn and grow. They still deserve the test status that they have for they are the only side challenging outside the test nations, but there is clearly some overstimation on part of the team and the fans of its abilities. Zimbabwe was also a struggling test nation for some time, but they knew how to fight hard and how play withing their limitations. Sadly, they lost all their players for various reasons, but Bangladesh would do a lot to learn from Zimbabwe's achievements.
People might turn around and say, look at the last innings. BD fought hard. Yes, it was a better effort, but these are very easy conditions with the opposition two batsmen down. Do you believe Tamim as well as he played here an play the same way in NZ and score runs as an opener? I think not. They need a strong coach and a strict seleccion committee which only values committment and the ability to fight hard. If there was something to pick from the test matches, it was Shahdat Hossain, Rahim and Mahmudullah who showed all the qualities required at the international level. I am still not sure if Tamim can keep scoring runs this way.
The biggest disappointment is Sakib and Ash who are rated highly. But in my estimation, Sakib depends completely on conditions and lack the variations at this stage and Ash needs a season in county cricket I believe.
Anyhow, what is most heartening is to see BD brothers showing so much passion for the game. Believe me, it is only thing that will take BD to the next level. Thank you or entertaining me.

Kids, go to bed.
Too much cricket over the last one month and not a single win.
Sleep and recharge yourself for some more losses in the upcoming months.
