Default Your Gift To Bangladesh Cricket Team for this Series Whitewash!!

It doesn't have to be something extravagant. Keep it simple. Something as a token of appreciation. Look around your house and you will see many shrink wrapped, unopened items. It can be something that means to you for example a precious, ancient coin if you are into numismatics. Or if anything, it can be a simple handwritten 'Thank you note' in a card. Anyways, here is my gift; it's a velocity ball which I will mail them tomorrow:

Address to forward the gifts:

Bangladesh Cricket Board
Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium
Mirpur
Dhaka 1216, Bangladesh
Tel. +(880) 2 803 1001 – 4
Fax. +(880) 2 2 8031199
E-mail: info@bcb-cricket.com

p.s. Mods can perhaps better advise me on the BEST address to send the gifts to...perhaps to Rabeed Imam since he is our BC-BCB connect?

Don't forget to upload photos and share them with us.

I was thinking about giving a Blackberry to Sakib. But, since he has no use for it, I am thinking about sending a box of Moronchand kalo jum for him and the team. Well, someone will try to deliver it for me, and if he manages to do that, I will ask him to take a pix of that and send it to me, so I can post it here.

I like the idea. I want to give something but dont have any idea. I dont think if I give money it would seem like any significant amount to them since they (bcb and the bangladesh team players) have loads of it. If someone can provide me with good meaningful suggestions I am all ears. I will go to the Navana tower and personally give my gift to the cricket team via the BCB office. But before that give me some gift ideas. Btw gopal being the stubborn person I am I did not listen to your rant and gave this thread a 3 green star rating. There are other threads here which deserve the red ratings, yours is not worthy of it.

How do we go about taking signatures of BC members? Digital signatures IMHO is not personal and wont look too nice as would a handwritten one.

Yeah thats a good idea. Infact this just gives a nice idea. How about someone from BC ( hint: Zunaid uncle) make a collage of photos from the WI test matches we just played and sign it on behalf of BC member and cricket fans worldwide and gift it to the Bangladesh cricket team? Personal photos taken from matches would be too hard to get together from so many different members. However we can get photos of these two test matches online easily. Someone just needs to take the initiative and create a collage of these photos online and present it to the Bangladesh team. Just make sure to write a nice little note in the bottom saying thank you from BC and the fans wordwide, including the strong foreign supporters we have here in BC. I nominate Zunaid uncle or Sohel uncle for this job. I think either of them would be able to do a good job on this.

Layperson would have been the best option but he has a whole cell phone company to run, after all. :P

Since it is not possible to get a personalized signature - perhaps each of you write one sentence of appreciation or thanks along with your name and location. We can then collate and have one of our contacts deliver.

"Something nice to say" - Your Name, location

But why limit it to Shakib. For once, let us be magnanimous and lets just send it to ALL the players?

Gopal Bhar, i really appreciate that despite our differences, you are always kind and nice to me(in fact to everyone), and as a reward, i never have put down red arrow on your thread...(if it deserves it that is...i don't think it deserves it...)

Gopal Bhar, while you are at it, why not open an "official BanglaCricket Mathematics thread" after the series is over of course... while you are at it ?
