Since, ireland is not a big team i think bangladeshi umpires won't be scared/afraid of making a correct decision.

To all of you complaining about the choice of umpires...

that should be the LEAST of Bangladesh's worries at the moment.

Though I would preffer all three 'Nadir Shah' instead of Moni. But it is important for moni to have pactice and become a good umpire in future. If we don't accept our own umpire, why will others accept him. Hope he gets into the elite pannel some day.

We have to bat, bowl and field well to win the matches. IMO, these are much more important than the match officials.

Umpires Enamul Hoque Moni (Bangladesh) & Tyron Wijewardena (Sri Lanka)
Due to a lack of adequate television cameras, there will be no third-umpire referrals; all decisions will be made by the two on-field umpires.

so expect sum bad decisions here n there...

BD umpires give bad decisions against their own countrymen. This will never happen in the West Indies. There, if the umpires are unsure, give the benefit to the batsman, which is the way it shoud be. With no third umpire, a lot of bad decisions will be given and you can bet,it will be against BD. the visitors will have the luck of the Irish.

Looking at the first post, I have a question. If there is no third umpire, what does a tv umpire do?
