Wish him all the best, the potential we here about him ... if he can convert those into reality ... he could become one of the great.
Hope he doesnt become another overhyped Mominul.

I wish him well in this chapter of his cricketing career, Virat and Shakib as his favorite players while Michael Clarke as his idol(which is almost the same as a street cricket to a cricket savant)he he ...I hope he uses this opportunity to full effect...and entertain the whole lot of us with his cover drive and other strokes..but most importantly, he must be disciplined and determined...baby steps...learn, listen, and then apply...
I'm not a betting guy...but $1.25 says he'll make a century on debut./

The talent is there and if he utilizes it well, he can become a great player for us. Wish him all the best for his debut(if he plays against Afghanistan)

He can't make a century at the place he is batting. A potential good score is 30 of 20 balls not out/out don't care but accelerated end to the innings with atleast one hit over the boundary in his debut.

Mosaddek isn't a lower middle order batsman, more suited to the top order. Riad and Sabbir are quality batsmen BUT they can give the big hits down the order.

Mominul still has a lot of time, He had a very solid DPL season... with a very good strike rate. It's just tough to break the national team right now in the ODI lineup due to many players well settled in their respective positions.

56 Test average - I don't think Momin was overhyped enough before his debut. Mosaddek will over exceed my expectation if he comes near that sort of achievement in any format of the game.

I think for the sake of the team, Shakib needs to move to no. 6 which is still a good position. Shakib still can muscle the ball and rotate the strike, can be effective in the latter overs. Sabbir/Nasir comes after everyone. As good Sabbir might be, he isn't an effective batsman who can build a long innings

Strange observation given Mosaddek batted mostly at 6-7 in his career so far, and has been successful playing from those slots.

There's still a possibility though...if the top order capitulate inside the first 5 overs.

yeah. not gonna say anything until see more of him. Learned my lesson from litton saga who later turned out to be leg side hack. But so far looks good. Play within himself.

Let's all jump and go gaga all over again and again. Let him hold atleast 30+ avg after 30 matches. We can get excited then.

Looked solid and looked like as if he has been playing international cricket for 5+ years!
Rescued Bangladesh to some sort of total to defend.
Well done!

By saying that he isn't a lower-middle order batsman I meant that he has far too much potential to play at no 6/7 for the national side.
He showed immense maturity today, that is something our top order batsman lacks. Have to say Mosaddek needs to bat at 5/6 if not no.4.

Its not about the hype bro.
What hurts is that so many players before him has shined so much in the beginning.
Anamul, Liton(still early days), Nafees, Gazi. All these people had such great starts and at first glance they seemed like the next big thing for Bangladesh. However, they kept on dissappointing.
Thats why I am not going to pin my hopes on Mosaddek just yet. But I must say I saw a lot of maturity in Mosaddek, something which I also saw in Mehedi Hasan Miraz. These are the kinds of player we need in our team. Not batsman who takes his SR to 50 when 100 approaches. I hope he keeps up the good work.
Its a sad world for Bangladesh. Pakistan too had its fair share of such cricketers if not worse. Just look at Nasir Jamshed, Junaid Khan and that spinner who got banned for drugs.
The issue is not with facilities, the issue is with mentality. Our players are mentally weak. Focusing on the wrong thing like showing off on facebook, crying about injustice instead of working harder and harder.

I would rather enjoy the ride as long as it last.
So why not hype him a little bit....if not at-least why not acknowledge his current performance?
It was a indeed a great and matured innings....it bigger than the scoreboard tells you. He scored in a pressure cooker situation. He succeeded (in this innings) while all the established and senior batsman more or less failed.
Good job (so far) !!!!!
