even Shahadat can score 18 off 13 on his day..doesn't mean he should play as a batsman..

Rokib does not even have the technique to last in tests..dont knowwhat you guys see in him..In ODIs, he gets a lot of those runs because the bowlers do not hae a reason to get him out. Sorry to be harsh...I don't think he can ever score a match-winning century in ODIs. If he can bat at No.3 in ODIs and score at 65+ SR and have 26+ average then he can stay.

I wasn't among the one's who bashed Rokibul. However he is unfit for this format. Taking singles and giving strike to Shafiul in the first ball of the over was pathetic to say the least. 3rd ball of the over Shafiul parishes. Even a novice wouldn't do that.

What a oweful cricket.... 18 run 14. 12 those not a big deal. Neighter raqib did hold the game? he didnt . So i am not going take his side. Also Whole team collapse from a to z batsman. its t20 but still no game plan. Poor battting and fielding and balling also... Overall it sucks big time. I am shocked.

it was a masterplan decision by SIDDONS to play rock at 8. he knew we will be 6 down in no time and rock will topscore.

was that a match saving innings by rock ??? did he really change anything ??? did it help the team in any positive sense ??? whats the point of tryyin a batsman to stabilize the innings batting at no 8 ???
if we want somebody to stabilize a innings should play at 4. who would send dravid at no 8 ????

when 7 batsman can't do the job, noway somebody at 8 can do the job. only if the top 7 has done 80-90% work then maybe the no 8 can do the rest

These guys are going to get clobbered in the WC 20/20 in the WI, but then the wickets are not so bouncy as NZ wickets. They did not do too badly in England last year, and wickets are bouncy there too. I remember how well they played in the warm up games. Here, they had no warm up games to get used to local conditions.
Why do BCB send these guys on tours and dont arrange for a warm up match?

*clap clap*

Rakibul scores 18 runs in a T20 match during a situation where all was lost, and his fans have declared him a hero. I wonder who this idiot is protected by. Since he isn't fit for the team, they send him into a bowler's position, and he flukes 18 runs. Any tail-ender could've done the same, and many have done better.

No that was not funny at all and NO that's why not people are clapping their hands.

The funny part is, while front door is wide open some people are complaining that backside window is not secure enough... and then when find dumbfounded when everything is stolen. And that was funny my friend. Ijjat Loot leya throuh the wide open front door my friend not the back window.

Get the picture? I guess no.... that's why its more funny.

Rakibul's 13 ball 18 runs is nothing to cheer about, but whatever it was, it was better than our top 7 batsman who batted ahead of him.

Keep Tamim, Mushfiq, Shahadat, Raqibul away from T20. Its better for BD and better for them. Tamim is an ugly slogger and is better suited for the longer form as an innings builder.

Groom the following 18 for the WC T20s that take place every other year. Get a special coach for them (Let Siddons stick with ODI and Tests), possibly Balwinder (Warrior's coach).

Imrul
Ash (drop him from Tests and ODIs and let him focus on this for the time being)
Nafees
Aftab
Nazim
Shakib
Kapali
Naeem
Dhiman
Mahmadullah
Mash
Rasel
Nazmul
Shafiul
Razzak
Mosharrof
Mithun
Rafique (convince him to play T20 out of retirement)
