Default Discards I want to see return

Alok Kapali: I still can't forget how he took on Indian bowlers in 2008 Asia cup. I find it pretty irritating how he flopped in DPL and then in NCL. May be he was unsettled this season with death in family and other stuff. But he needs to pull himself together soon.

Rajin Saleh: Another cricketer fading away after marriage. This is the guy I hoped to see scoring tons of runs in domestic leagues and putting pressure on selectors to give him another chance, not Faisal Hossain.

Shahriar Nafees: Give up dude, you are no good at handling the new ball. Try your luck at #4 or later, you are much better at handling spinners.

Mehrab Hossain Jr:
Another middle order batsman wasting time trying his luck as an opener. And yeah, he is no allrounder, can be a part time bowler at best.

Sajidul Islam:
I thought he would be our version of Zaheer Khan, if not Wasim or Vaas. Is he another pacer getting lost with injuries? BCB coaches need to give him special attention regardless of his performances in domestic leagues.

Those 5 << Tushar

Tushar can Boast he has a Century vs a Bowling Attack Consisting of Stuart Broad, Greame Onions and Tim Brenson

I didn't even realize the caliber of the bowlers i just mentioned, he's just has a huge mental block ... He does so well for the A team but when he plays for us ... He's complete crap

Alok Kapali and SN (sometimes referred as mofeez pagla) needs to get their act together ASAP. Rest are pretty much goner.

Rajin Saleh could well be a stop gap for Raqibul as he tries to regain form, the way he handled Shoaib Akhtar in Pakistan,.....was beyond my expectations off a Bangladeshi batsman. I am sure he will be in the team sometime soon.
And as Cricman said, TUshar Imran has a mental block it seems, he has decent technique, looks good and then gets out. I think he should be made the permanent A team captain till he dies.

I also feel a lot for this guys as well.
1.I think SN will make it very shortly. He is a very smart cricketer and still i think that for both test and ODI he is our current best solution. But he needs some time he seems to be rusty to me just need to uncrust the rusts.
2.I miss Kapali a lot it seems to me ICL has ruined his everything. After a long break now he has to start from beginning?Kapali I want to see u rulling the indian bowlers again.
3.Enamul Jn: After ICL saga it gave great chance to some of the players to fixe up their position in the team.Riyad,Naeem,Kayes,Mushy has utilized the chance. Those who have failed Enam Jn is among them.I think he need to show patience.Hal serona bondhu kontho saro jore.
Another guy i miss is Faisal Hossain. This guy is like a wall in the late middle order.
I think after completion of this domestic season BCB can make an A team with them and can send them to a tour.

definitely want to see alok making a comeback, SN has talent but i was very unimpressed with him in that test series against india. sajidul should be in the pacers rotation which should also include mash, shahadat, shafiul, rubel and possibly subashis and emon (down track), meanwhile robin, rasel, robiul, dolar and nazmul can be hot on their heels but get the guys with the pace and the talent up there and give them the proper support.

nazmus sadat is another i want to see make a comeback. tbh i don't have much care for enamul, mehrab and rajin. rajin and mehrab may have the temperament but i'd prefer to focus on guys like farhad, marshall ayub, shamsur, S Hom etc. in reality i don't think any of these guys will make a comeback soon, SN is a possiblity because was in the team only a couple of weeks ago but the selectors haven't given much if any indication on the others. what about nafis iqbal? he had some talent.

What happened to Mosharraf Hossain? Didn't he quit the ICL? Wasn't he referred as the "new Rafique" some time ago?

Tapash Baisya, the chances of him making a return are very slim but I would be happy to see him get a call up. The guy has some nice raw pace and he always gives it his best I mean during the time he was in the side (when he was quite young) he sure did put in some wholehearted performances with the ball and he also showed good temperament as a batsman down the order. It really was a shame that he went the ICL way as he had the potential to be a very dangerous pace bowler, in my opinion.

Shahriar Nafees: If not as top order batsmen, then as a middle order. I want SN to get his acts together and come back to his best.

Alok Kapali:
In ODI. He is a good middle order batsman for the limited overs and I want him to get his form back again.

Nafis Iqbal:
I am every doubt now whether it is possible, but want to back to his best again. For longer version or even in ODI, he is a capable batsman as Opener/#3.

Talha Jubair: From the discard pacers, I think he is a very good one. Do not know which pace he is bowling nowadays, but he can definitely swing the ball both ways. Want him to be his best this season.

Shahsur Rahman/Mithun: They are not from the typical discard category, but they made the 20/20 squad, so can be termed as discard. I want them to be always scoring runs, always pushing the current national batsmen and making case for themselves.

Robin, a polished Robin with a better line and length. The swing he creates I haven't seen any one do that in last two years.

Talha of course.

Rajin only on Test format. Once captain of BD fading like this...

Mehrab Jr. in Test and ODIs (lower order) as a back up. Naeem is handling fine. Competition.

Sadat. My boy still needs to have some time. Can't prolong his innings. Too much rush of blood. T20 is made for him. PCL showed what he can do last year. His SLA rivals Shakib's.

Nafis Iqbal. If Aftab can come back in the team then there is no reason why NI can't. Our perfect #3 he could be. He had the talent, temparament, shots, still has age on his side. The generation missing in our side.

Tushar. I know tested and tried many times. But the pressure was on all the time.

LAST but not least, KHALED MASHUD. Just to relieve Mushi and kick his rear. (Mushi would still be in the team but as a 1st slip, and top order batsman Big Z in the second slip. Perfect slip catching when Rubel is bowling in test.

We need Kapali as a leg spinner-all-rounder in the team. We need the variety in our bowling, especially to win test matches and Kapali seemed to be the man. I blame it on Mohsin Kamal-Ali Zia company to try to make him a specialist batsman and allowing him to bat at #4 when he wasn't ready. In ODIs at least, he could be a good contender and a competitor to the current Mahmudullah & Naeem Islam.

How about Aftab Ahmed? He may be in the current team right now, but from the looks of things, I think he's not back as he should be. If he can just get his act together before the coming England tour of BD, where the conditions will be similar to NZ, then it could just remind us of an earlier Aftab Ahmed. The thing is, is a 'repeat act' possible from our national players?

Yes sir!! Forgot about Mo Rafique. He is a must at this point of our Cricket. His presence in the team should calm things around in the locker room. It would stop the kalanti of few players.
