Default Should Dave get his website?

Guardian
On Bob Woolmer....

Quote:
His commitment to open government is striking. On his website www.bobwoolmer.com he spends an hour a day answering emails from Pakistani fans. "If there's a good player in Pakistan that I don't know about, I can be sure that someone will tell me."
Q-What about Dave?
Maybe not the same case. All depends on what is the purpose of a website. Publicity? Self-promotion or an online resume? For the first two reasons it probably does'nt make sense if his current or possible paymasters are'nt the internet savvy types, but in the future it would be a potential self advertising tool.

Has anyone seen Bob Woolmers site,
apparently he spends an hour a day answering fan questions and issues. An hour a day is a lot for fans but does'nt go down well with the bosses. So should Dave get a site? If not I would strongly suggest the upcoming younger coaches that want to settle in to this line of work should think about it.

It is a tool of self promotion and business all right considering that it does sell coaching courses where fees are quoted in R, R being Rands not Rupees. He is not the only one though. Greg Chappell also has a site called www.chappellway.com which is a better organised and professional looking site than woolmar's site

Greg Chappell's site

whatemoretodo.com?? That could be an interesting title. As he has a job to do and must accomplish it. So a website would siut him, if he evers feels down maybe a postive reviewd website may lift his spirit up as well as help him to reamin focus in such stressful times he's having conditioning our players.:cool2:

If he contacts us, we will build it, host it and maintain it free for him. It will be an honor and privillage for BanglaCricket.

As starters, perhaps we should invite McInnes - he is a willing participant here and it would be nice to offer him the same courtesy.

Excellent idea. Should I ask him?
