In Dhaka, you might get some kinda Bangla software where you can type Bangla by using the English Keyboard. There you just have to compose Bangla words in English.

Such a software is also available for free download online. Check it here.

A demo version of a similar and possibly better version of Bornosoft was also available online, but at present the site is not working.

However, this would help typing Bangla easily, but I don't know if there is any Bangla-English dictionary online.

jaihok
I had thought that 'jaihok' meant 'hi' as it used to be first word in his posts

Sometimes it is possible to guess the meaning of words.

Quote:
khub hashi laglo message gulo pore. tintin bhai ebong agent smith bhai. dannabad.
khub = khoob in Hindi = very
hashi = hasi = laugh
laglo = do
pore = par. can't think of an exact word for that.

I can't guess what gulo is except that it should be equivalent to 'read'.

So it is something like 'it was funny to read the messages' ?

Too exhausted to attempt CB's message, but I can't imagine what a word like 'khodabox' is doing in Bangla

'pore' - after reading

'Laglo' basically means 'felt'

gulo denotes 'pluralism'

'messagegulo' means 'the messages'

Despite of not deciphering every word correctly, u got the sense right - 'It was very funny reading those messages'

Bangla can't be translated word-by-word into English. The syntax is a bit different.

pore is actually "after"

porar pore is "after reading"

Tintin, looks like learning Bangla would be easier than your efforts to decipher our messages.
