Default Pakistan will tour Bangladesh for a full series in December this year

The Pakistan Cricket Board seems to be working hard to improve the strained relationship with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) as it agreed to tour Bangladesh for a full series in December this year.
A source in the Board told PTI that the PCB had recently approved a tentative itinerary sent by the Bangladesh board for the series that will include two Tests, three One-day Internationals and a T20 match in December.
The itinerary for the series has been tentatively agreed upon by both the boards.
"Pakistan has not played Bangladesh in a bilateral series since early 2008 as it believed that the Bangladesh board had let it down on many occasions, especially by not supporting Pakistan when the World Cup matches were moved out of the country. But now things seem to have settled down," the source said.
Stating that the tension between Pakistan and Bangladesh first surfaced in 2009, the source explained, "Pakistan board has not been very happy with BCB since 2009 when it cancelled a bilateral one-day series between the two nations to be held in Bangladesh, immediately after the militants attack on the Sri Lankan team in Lahore.
"Pakistan team was to tour Bangladesh for the ODI series but after the attack took place, the BCB cancelled the series on security grounds, saying its government had not given clearance for the Pakistan team to play in Bangladesh."

Pakistan is a good team now and look how they are thrashing Zim. They made Vitori look really 'ordinary' and he is yet to take a wicket.

Will be an interesting series against us. Can't wait.

^ Arey bhai be optimistic. Pakistan is not that much better than us. If we can put aside all the drama then it will be a close contest.

we are.

but tbh it's just about giving your 100% and being the better team on the day. stats, etc. are not important when you are out there playing.

I am expecting a clean sweep from Pakistan, but looking forward to some good cricket from Bangladesh.

I am just being pragmatic brother. I was very optimistic before those famous 58 and 78.

But our record against the subcontinental team is very poor specially at home.

At least we will play against an improved Pak team. Tired of all the second string/reduced/weak teams for many years now. BD Team might have forgotten, what to expect from better teams.

Sometimes fans here on the forum really expect too much from Bangladesh team, even after losing to Zimbabwe.

This is how world rate this team, a comment from cricinfo site

"PCB must find an opportunity with comparatively a Better Team then this Bangladesh. They might be offer a series at UAE to Ireland (a good side then Bangladesh)"

Ya its really strange that people are not rating Pakistan that highly even though they ended up going to the semifinals of the WC while we didn't even make the QF's. And now seeing how Pakistan is thrashing Zimbabwe while we couldn't even win a series there. Guys the fact is, Pakistan is better by a good margin. Their bowlers and batsmen are overall better. It will be a very tough series for our boys.

Does not matter. It is important that we play a lot against the top sides. It could be a close contest in the ODI.

Its Bangladesh that is one of the only teams recently who put up a good fight against England. Its Bangladesh who beat England when the "world champions" couldnt. Its Bangladesh who made a joke out of New Zealand.

But ppl still talk trash because of our inconsistency.

scoring 56 and 76 doesn't help much to prove our consistency. moreover, losing a series against Zimbabwe is a matter of concern too

Can't wait for this series. Beating Pakistan in December will be great!

But please keep Shahadat out of this series. He'll be busy copying the likes of Afridi in the field rather than attacking them (in cricketing sense).

If BCB does his job, we will be fine...

Dhurro, 16 tarikhe kono khela nai keno...
jomlo na...

Bangladesh will win the series Inshallah (all 3 formats).
The month of December, pakistan, Bangladesh in one sentence ??
All i can read is win win win.

Its not about the skills and the strength of the teams, its that extra tonic that will work for the boys.
