An elephant trudges past a caricature of "Stumpy", the mascot of Cricket World Cup 2011, during the mascot launch ceremony at the P Sara Oval Stadium in Colombo yesterday. Old news. But when the design came out, I thought they would use a guy and customs. But they are using a actual animal! LOL!

Must bring an elephant to BNS. It'll provide good fertilizer for the field.

^ Not just BNS, all 3 countries could use some elephant dump. Subcon. have the ****iest cricket grounds. Yellow grass, brown spots all over the parks. And of course the flat pitches. I am pretty sure the coverage will be pretty dull too. Theme song will suck!

I just cant wait for 2015 WC. Aus + NZ! Best cricket grounds, nice weather, good sporting pitches, nice coverage, almost as good as our NFL, NBA standard. This was suppose to be AUs + NZs turn. But those chours stole it!

An elephant mascot is fine but why bother chaning/suffacating up that real life animal into that ugly costume for?
