Sir almost back in the test team without having even a moderate domestic longer version season. And that is because of no other back up option. We badly need to produce top order batsman and stop opening the batting with Elias Sunny in domestic 4 day match.

Yesterday i saw a fb page posted '' this is enough, ashraful did enough to come back;why the selectors are ignoring him again and again ? '' they also mentioned ash-fool's avg in the last NCL,BCL & BPL. Where they showed that his avg in this NCL was 13 point something.......how funny ***** they think this is enough ! Actually they are right,u can't expect better from him.....he can still score 150+ but can't two back to back 50+ .
Ash-fool and inconsistency, still a better love story than twilight.
Players like Shewag, gibbs etc. Can be dropped by their selectors but our selectors can't drop this man.
The ****** ***** **** *** ash-fool fans

Well I dont see anything wrong playing the great Ash instead of Rubel, Shahadat, Robiul, Abul.
He wont bowl any worse, he will give away less runs, might get 1-2 wickets
He wont field any worse, infact thats his strength.
He will most likely score more than any one these 4
None of the pacers will last more than 10 overs anyways in Test

So I for this once, say play the great Ash, instead of one of the pacers.
Our pacers are totally useless in all 3 departments (Except the great Abul)

Only role I want to see him play in Lanka is to carry water and towels, and cheer the players.

if ash makes a comeback the selectors should seriously be saying they won't accept anything less than a 35+ average from him. that's the benchmark now, someone with ash's talent and experience at the international level should at least be averaging that (with the bat). i prefer he not be in the playing XI, i really don't like him even in the squad because to me it seems when he's around the team the attitude isn't as good and they don't do as well.

if ash is getting selected because of his good record against sri lanka then it's pretty ridiculous, how many other test teams are going to select someone based on results from 4+ years ago? especially since they haven't done very well at all since then.
