Default Shane Bond: I'm Not leaving New Zealand Cricket

Quote:
Shane Bond has denied he is one of two Black Caps set to leave New Zealand for lucrative Indian Cricket League contracts.

Reports out of Melbourne suggest former Australian player Dean Jones has been busy grabbing the signatures of some of the world's best for the new multi-million dollar competition, and that includes two highly ranked New Zealanders.

Shane Bond says he isn't one of them and knows nothing about it.
Jones heads to America this week to finalise other contracts, but sources close to the Australian great say he has definitely secured a couple of Kiwis.

The Indian Cricket League will be run as a Twenty20 format with six private teams coached by former Indian Internationals and is in direct competition to Indian cricket's controlling body.

BCCI about to make enemies really fast I'm sure that bum Dean Jones talked to Bond and tried his best to convince him to retire from international cricket. Players like McCullum, Vettori, Patel of that caliber are going to quit international cricket for the BCCI's money to play in a 20/20 league

I have an incredibly high opinion of Vettori for some reason that even I haven't figured out yet. Will be very disappointed in him if he is one of those who quit the real game for the ICL.
