Golam Rahman scores 43 and 51.
Still leads the league with 739 runs.
Has a chance to be the first BD batsman to score 1,000 runs in a season.
And he is only 17.

Golam Rahman isnt 17 (according to Mr. McCinns) so he was not considered for Aussieland bound U-19 team, but he is awesome. I look forward to see how he performs with Bangladesh A in England. It seems he is a longer version material and could not care less about shorter one! (ref - his stats)

Yeah, McInnes said he won't qualify for the u19 world cup next year so he is atleast 18 at this point! Anyway, however old he is, he is showing amazing consistency! I think he should get a call up to the Bangladesh A team to England later in the summer. With Javed Omar's career approaching its end, its good to see some good young openers making a case for inclusion and its doubly lucky for us that both Shahriar Nafees and Golam Rahman, the two who seem the most likely to fight for JO's place down the years, are both lefties!

Some more endorsement from nannu for Golam Rahman
Nannu: "I haven’t seen him yet. But I heard about him from Rajin Saleh. He rates the boy very highly," said Abedin when asked to comment on the player.
"I think he deserved a chance in the A team or under-19 team. I am not saying this relying on Rajin’s comments. His record itself speaks for him. If a player does not get a reward for scoring so many runs then how he would be motivated to play in the national cricket league," added the former national captain, who did not get a Test recall despite achieving the milestone first.

Golam Rahman scored 71 today! Amazing consistency! That also takes him above 800 runs for the season I believe.

if he can keep that consistancy up in higher level, a player like him can single handedly change the face of a team. Lets hope he becomes our future lara.

He looks a good prospect for the longer version of the game. He could be our version of Andrew Strauss.

what i meant by lara is that he is left handed too and able to change the fate of the game single handedly. may be he does not have the hitting ability of lara, but thats not what i'm talking about.

Take it easy agent. BD selectors are so desperately looking for young talents that it will be highly unnatural for them not to pick this boy for A-team's England tour.
Golam Rahman already proved what kind of great temperament he poses, England tour will give us an assessment how technically sound he is.
If he can continue his form in England, I won't be surprised to see him batting in the next test series in JO's place.
