Enamul Haque Jnr
Just to let you know, Enamul's playing at an English club this year called Guisborough CC.
I will post match score-cards so you guys can see how he's getting on. His first game is tomorrow vs Darialington who have Rajin Saleh playing for them.

Thanks a lot Hammy! Appreciate it! Good to see Enamul and Rajin are not slacking around and are looking to further improve their games. I believe both still have a lot to offer in tests. Rajin's toughness and grittiness is needed in our test fold. Enamul no doubt should be back as well. In my opinion, he's still our 2nd best test spinner behind Shakib. He's definitely a much better spinner then Razzak in tests. Hope he comes back soon.

Beat me to this one. Exactly my thoughts. Both of them esp Enam is a must in the test arena. Still fondly remember how he starred in our first ever test victory against Zimbabwe and bowled perhaps the best delivery ever by any BD bowler taking Michael Clarke's wicket in Fatulla. His attacking instincts makes him more of a longer version customer than Razzaq whose more economic style with seldom armors are limited to limited over success. As for Rajin Saleh, I prefer him for ODI as well if the much anticipated moves of Kapali or Shuvagoto at no. 4 doesnt work out.

i dunno, but enamul always seemed the proper test left arm spinner to me. big turn, attacking, flights the ball. he was a viable option over razzak any day. even more now that we dnt have a good attack in test matches. and as he has played test cricket before against top nations, he shud be tried out again before giving any new recruits a test debut.

It is good to let Shakib off captaincy, it will relieve some pressure. He will be offered captaincy again in a few years when he will be more than ready, Bangladesh will voyage into a new horizon then

Disagree that Rajin should be tried out in ODIs. Him taking so long to settle in at the crease builds up pressure on the other end. Similar to what Rokibul does. We have better options then him in ODIs. In tests, however we still lack players with solid temperament and technique so he should still play tests.

The information entered by Darlington was limited. They didn't input 'balls faced' '4's '6's' etc, just the result, runs scored by each batsman and bowling figures.

Yeah I know. Btw, what has happened to Rajin? Is he not in national contention anymore?

So, Rajin falls to Enamul, who had a sort of good outing, 2 wickets and 15 runs.
Rajin's 35 isn't a bad score.

He bowled very well, there was little turn from the pitch. Rajin tried to sweep Enamul and got caught.
