Default I dare to dream for better results in ODI\'s and even upcoming tour in Zimb

I know you guys gona curse me...but I am also stunned to so Taibu for Zimb playing so well with WI...I will just go for a draw with them in forthcoming true...we still need couple of years to compete against Zimb and win...

Regarding practice match, Bashar and Hannan did kinda ok and stepped down to let other bats ..Sujon some how played really good...which went in vain!! but Musfiq and Alok and Moniruzzaman's battign performance is something to worry about...let's see what happens on Nov 7

Zimbabwe 501/9......that says it all. We can't even dream of scoring anything close to that! Realistically we can only hope for a honourable draw in tests! Hoping tooo much will bring in frustation. This taibu (although he is an wicket keeper) can even bowl and did very well in the U-19 WC. Can any of our bowlers score 50 let alone a century? And G. Fowler will be back against Bangladesh. I only hope our batsmen and bowlers do their best! And I will be happy!

Zimbabwe have a few all-rounders - Heath Streak is a genuine all-rounder, no one can argue with that, Andy Blignaut is an all-rounder, Ray Price can stay at the wicket for as long as possible - AGAINST A TEAM LIKE AUSTRALIA, Trevor Friend can bat like a specialist batsman at the top order and takes 5 - wicket hauls against Bangladesh and now Taibu is becoming an allrounder. Not to mention that they have a debutante/new player Matsekyenari who is also a match winner (his first ODI game had enforced the Zimbabweans to beat the England team this season - he was the main reason for winning that match).

And those who we considered our all-rounders, our best all-rounders that is, have a test career batting average of at best 12 and over 10, are scared of bouncers, are scared of short pitched bowling, the only thing that they can do separately is hit the balls like a One Day Pinch Hitter or in other words, SLOGGERS off slow or spin bowling.

I am feeling bad that just when Bangladesh is supposed to play against Zimbabwe, Heath Streak scores his maiden test century in the preceeding test series, Taibu and Blignaut goes so much near to test match hundreds that against our weaker bowling attack (compared to West Indies bowling attack) they will surely score test match hundreds.

And they are only lower order batsman. I can't even think of what the upper or middle order batsman are gonna do.

Default can we any how just postpone the test against Zimb...i am tired of all these humiliations

I don't want win..I don't want to see them in number 8 position among test playing countries...all I wanted a better result in our own soil...a draw...neways we all dream for our country but at the end the result we all know what it happens for us....

Playing Zimb now in their soil...will add more humiliation...I was wondering if it's possible for us to postpone the tests ....sorry guys don throw eggs at me..i am just frustrated till they show something good and snatch a draw

Default NOW WAIT JUST ONE MOMENT

I said this in another thread... but here goes again...

Ummm... guys think about this carefully. Zimbabwe was facing a weakeaned Aussie line up. If Mac Gill was injured during our tour, we would have played a lot better, coz except the time we were bowled out for 97, the pace attack struggled against us. Further more, we almost beat Pakistan. They ended up beating South Africa. So I reckon we got a chance... but only a chance... probably about 40%.

Hasib, Check Zimbabwe vs. WI and think again! WI is on the verge of following on!
