While I'm a Brazil supporter from way back, I am not confident of their winning the Copa. In the last match, Julio Caesar made up a couple of uncharacteristic slips which resulted in the goals they conceded. Also Lucio and the defence, which had looked so strong under Dunga's coaching, seemed particularly jittery against Ecuador, perhaps one of the weakest teams in Latin America. The attacks largely worked because of the replacement of Dani Alves by Maicon; he provided the width on the right hand side that they needed. However, the midfield plays too far up, making linking run ups and passes difficult, and largely neutralizes the effectiveness of Ganso. And while Neymar and Pato can finish in front of the goal, they need some more ruthless finishers in the Fabiano, Hulk, Hernanes mode.
Keep in mind that that Ecuador played a very open football, which suited Brazil's style. Paraguay (and, in the future, European teams) will try to close down Brazilian players instead.

I feel bad for Messi, as if it was his fault as people are saying. It's not his fault Higuain couldn't kick the ball into the Ocean, Messi set up Higuain and Di Maria and they would just mess it up every time.
This Argentina backline is horrible, the couldn't win a header if there life depended on it, there always vulnerable in set pieces. It was 10 v 11 and Uruguay hit the post 2 times. Suarez better help LFC win #19 next year.
