Third day prospects at Sabina Park.

It was pretty demoralizing yesterday. Not unexpected though. We were always gonna struggle once we were bowled out for 284 which seemed inadequate on that pitch. The bowling was more or less ok, can’t say the same about our fielding though.
Now let’s look ahead to the third day. Our first task should be quite simple ‘n easy. We gotta get rid of Tino best first thing in the morning. Chanderpaul is not in the greatest of forms & Dwayne Smith is unpredictable—He might play like a champion or might throw his wicket away. If we can trigger a collapse ‘n restrict them to under 400..we still might be able to pull it off. Mind you, we have to bowl ‘n CATCH mighty well to do that. The second innings batting has always been a big problem for us & it has to deliver for us to save the match. We can try Khaled Mashud to open the innings. He knows how to face the new ball & has opened for us before. It will be unwise to expose poor Hannan Sarkar to Pedro Collins once more. The poor chap has completely lost it & its effecting his fielding too. He was a pretty decent slip catcher before this series. The players should put their heads down & play every ball according to the merit. There will be no demons in the pitch. It’s still a good one for batting with only a few deliveries occasionally keeping low. It will be a grand effort if we can give West Indies something in the region of 225 to chase on the fourth innings. Yeah..i know..all these are wishful thinking. But boy ! What would I give for these thoughts to come true! Take care everyone.

quite a good suggestion though! just hope someone in the bangladesh camp can listen to you.

pilot has opened before and not bad at all against the new ball. we have to do something dramatic, otherwise it may be west indies all the way.
