Default The Fall of a Giant?

The way things have gone for Australia so far in this series, I'm beginning to wonder whether they are nearing the end of their golden era. Just like the WI did in the late 80's or so. Could this be a major turning point in the history of cricket? If so, then who do you think will be the next invincibles? England?

An Aussie wrote after Englland win over BD
“What a waste of both team’s time and energy. It’s doing Bangladesh no good, and could potentially devalue cricket - come on, ICC, wake up. God knows what Australia will do to them”

Eat your heart out Dumbo. Bangladesh have beaten Australia. Australia have lost to Bangladesh. Bangladesh have outplayed Australia. What a day to remember, and what an honour to have watched it.

I think this is the beginning of the end. I say the final finish will be WC 2007 once everyone retires.

I hope it is the beginning of the end- and what an abrupt end it could be.

this may be an indication of a few cracks appearing in the armory of the invincible and dominant aussies. in a few years when the mcgraths and warnes hang up their boots they will definately leave a huge void in australian cricket. but for now australia are still the team to beat. dont be sidetracked by a couple of defeats. australia have dominated the sport for the last decade.all their matchwinners are still in the side. they will bounce back and in a big way.aussies also have a great system in place which has produced some of the greatest modern day cricketers. of course we might not see another gilchrist or warne again but australia will always be competitive.
