Now invite Ire for a quick 2 match series, we will give one batting and one sluggish pitch. Even if they make it 1-1 I will agree to all those IRE better cr**.

Against spin bowling 4 years ago.

Sometimes, but he's an out-and-out bowler (well, you can't say that based on this series though )

Shuvo actually did OK a few days ago, hit 3 boundaries.

Can't blame the batting for anything here. This is our 2nd highest score against test nations. Our bowling, specifically the pacers gave this match away.

Looking back at the game I have to say we lost partly because of Shakib's reckless captaincy. The way he let Shafi and Mash bowl while they were leaking runs and didn't give Alok more overs taken the match away from us.

bowling today was definitely dissapointing...

but had our target not been so high... i doubt we would've got 250+

they seem to bat well only when they realise there is no hope of winning....

I'm big fan of Shakib, but today his captaincy was very poor, he rotated bowlers very poorly and bowling changes were pathetic. It didn't look like Shakib himself was there both in batting and bowling plus as a captain. What is wrong with the guy these days??

LOL. So, what's the solution to winning then. I am finding it difficult to compile

that, my friend.. is a very difficult question...
most of the times we bat first... we don't bat particularly well... and as a result.. put immense pressure on the bowlers' shoulders... sometimes they stand up to it..and we win;.. most times they don't...

when we bowl first.. and its a good batting track.. we get clobbered all over everywhere.. most of the times... hence we have a very bif target to chase... sometimes the batsman collapse like sissies... sometimes they fight like tigers... either way .. we end up losing
those few times we bowl well first up... most of the time we give a pathetic batting display... ruining all the bowlers hard work... but sometimes... we bat average/good... which ends up being good enough to win us the game..

bottom line.. we suck at doing everything properly together.. and as a result... our winning rates are quite low..

against a weaker team... they do pretty much the same things as us.. only worse.. and hence we win... :P

and ofcourse.. there are those occasional matches where we do actually play well... and win...

I only saw Alok's first over, he started off with two or three decent balls, then a few rubbish ones which weren't put away.
