Default Who would be the surprise package?

Almost in every world cup one team defies all odd. Becoming the people's champion. In 1990 it was Cameroon, in 1994 it was Bulgaria, in 1998 it was Croatia, in 2002 it was South Korea. Whom you think would be this years surprise package. I think this year it would be either Japan or Ivory Coast but most probably Japan as they have easier group.

I think Serbia and Montenegro because of their excellent defensive record in the qualifiers. They only conceded one goal in ten matches and won their group which featured Spain. They also scored 16 goals so their attacking is not too bad either.
