Only just noticed when I was browsing on cricinfo, I saw this name first thought was Nazmul who played for Bangladesh but I know he plays his games for Sylhet. So Guys does any one know who this "Nazmul Hussain"is. Cricinfo does not have enough detail under his player profile.

Don't know who Nazmul Hussain is, but two interesting things I noticed. The first innings is 299 runs, without a single century, and only two 50s. And the 2nd innings was almost gone, coz at one point they were 112/7. And then came Nazmul Hussain and kind of took the win away from the opponents naker doga, with a 144!!!
The other thing I wanted to point out is, the name " Saqlain Sajib" sounds quite interesting to me. Just the Saqlain part!

Can you post some of his stats? I really believe it was a fluke. Coming so low in the order when the team is about to get bowled out, and doing magic like this, is really only possible by a few players in this world. I hope it's not a fluke...coz he can the next Mr. Magic.

Nazmul Milon is a right arm medium pacer and a late order hard hitting batsman. McInnes picked him for U/19 tour of Australia, 2005, where he played couple of blistering innings. Later, De Winter dropped him from U/19 team based on his poor performances in Afro-Asia U/19 Cup in India.
Milon, I believe, made a Dhaka premier league record of giving away most runs in an over (37 ?), while playing for Victoria this year.

Hes just got 5 List A matches, and a highest of 144 already! Really REALLY hope this guy backs this up with some other performances. His bowling stats look good too. Average of 24.25 in First-Class. We need quality allrounders badly. After Sakib, weve got next to none...

I'm not sure his first class stats mean much at this stage given that he's played two games

May be, but one thing for sure he knows how to stood up on critical time, 112 for 7 and this guy comes in tearing his opposition bowler. Not only he won the game apparently this win gave Dhaka the title for National Cricket One Day League 2007. His last First Class game he was 65 (74) not out which was match winning innigs to give Dhaka the NCL 2006/07 title. This guy is a Double winner. I hope he gets another chance with BD development squad.

True. But youve got to remember that its also four innings. Four innings isnt much either, but so far so good...You could argue the same for his batting. Weve just got to keep an eye out for him, thats all...

Here comes a new Afridi.
Coming into bat when all was lost for Dhaka having been reduced to 6 for 90, Milon saw wicketkeeper-batsman Sajjad Kadir being dismissed at 112 in 23.5 overs. But without losing heart, Milon went for his customary all-out attack on the Rajshahi bowlers.
Occasional spinner Nayeem Islam bore the brunt of his assault, as Milon launched him several times over the long-on fence for massive sixes. Three of the sixes, slammed into the indoor basketball stadium while one of them actually cleared the roof off seamer Mushfiq Babu. The ball was never found as regular visitors to the ground confessed that they have never seen witnessed such hitting.
But he took time to settle as he reached his half-century in 56 balls. By then, Rashedul played the perfect foil stroking the ball into gaps and working on the singles. Milon took only 20 balls to score another 50 runs as he reached his century with Dhaka, for the first time in the match, sensing victory. While scoring his last 44 runs, Milon only took 12 balls during which time he went berserk, hitting another boundary and three more sixes. He was finally dismissed when substitute fielder Mohammad Shahjada took a steepler at the boundary off left-armer Saqlain Sajib. Milon toyed with the Rajshahi seamers as well the spinners. He ended with 144 off 89 balls. He struck nine massive sixes and eleven fours.

Nazmul Hossain Milon. I saw him a couple of years ago when he was representing the U19's. Hit a couple of big sixes advancing at the spinners and hitting them straight. Looked impressive...I tried to have a chat with him but he couldn't even understand what "how are you?" meant.
