Lost it, along with Kenya and Canada.

And we've lost to all three in the past.

It's kind of premature to dole out ODI status to someone like PNG and Hong Kong regardless of their recent performances in ICC Championship. Hasty decisions will only downgrade the level of quality of international matches. Imagine Corey Anderson is batting against Hong Kong and scoring 100 off 25 balls or Dale Steyn getting 8 wickets against PNG which all goes down to the record book to overwrite some genuine achievements

It was predecided to dole out ODI status to top 6 associates. These guys will also receive larger share from ICC than their peers.

sucks for netherland. Didn't they have the most homegrown players? If so then that really bites. Canada, UAE, HK are all immigrant represented.

Where did kenya go wrong? After the performance in 2003 WC, i would have thought that they would have got the test status and would have been in higher rating then us. Just a couple of years back, they used to bea head to head with us. Sad really ...
