Default Sazzad, the bowman who can hit the Bull's eye

This guy was like the third kid of goat in the team. Nobody paid any attention to him. With very limited training and mediocre preparation he just made it a day for Bangladesh in the second Asian grand Prix Archery competition in Calcutta.

With his Gold BD became second, winning the eventual silver medal as a team.
Kudos for the gem of Chandpur.

Here's more from the Daily Star:

Sajjad hits history

A file photo shows Sajjad Hossain in his stride at the outer stadium in Paltan during a national archery event.Photo: Star File PhotoSports Reporter
Sajjad Hossain created a small piece of history when he became the first Bangladeshi archer to win a gold medal at an international tournament yesterday.
The unheralded archer from Chandpur defeated T Rangper of Iran to clinch the individual recurve 70m gold in the 4th Asian Archery Grand Prix Championship at Salt Lake City in Kolkata. Bangladesh also clinched the silver medal in the team event in a sport that started a quiet journey in 2006.

oh yeah its just matter of time we'll do that, and he'll watch that Iranian guy win olympic gold while he is crippled....

sometimes I feel if we NRBs can do anything for these talented players born in an unfortunate country. Cricket & football has substantial funds and sponsors but what if we could do sth about sportsman like Sazzad.

আন্তরিক অভিনন্দন সাজ্জাদ ভাইকে। আমাদের গর্বের নতুন জায়গায় নিয়ে আসার জন্য।

বাবার সাথে ঈদের দিনে বাস থেকে নেমেই

This is serious stuff. May be the NOC can create a forum or something. These talents are just withering away. Congrats Sajjad.
