I guess they are talking about PCL -
Shoaib Malik allowed to play BCL
http://www.geo.tv/3-18-2010/61327.htm
LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has allowed allrounder Shoaib Malik to take part in the Bangladesh cricket league (BCL).
The Bangladesh cricket league will commence on March 26 in Sharjah.
Sources said that the board’s stance was that Malik is not available to the national team due to one-year ban and this is why he has been permitted to play league cricket.
Earlier, the PCB also allowed star batsman Mohammad Yousuf to participate in the Bangladesh league cricket.

BCL? I thought it was PCL or Bashundhara Cup. Is it that hard for Paki papers to be accurate?

Malik, Naved cleared for PCL
Quote:
"Besides Malik and Naved some other players also applied for permission and we have an open mind on that," said Bari, PCB chief operating officer and himself a former captain.
Yousuf was cleared to play in Bangladesh earlier this week. The Twenty20 league starts later this month. Openers Imran Farhat and Taufeeq Umer have also been cleared to play in Bangladesh.

The Wayamba team of Sri lanka won their 20/20 bash, will be going again to the Champions Trophy.
They have some good hitters in that team who is not playing in the IPL. I am sure a few will be happy to play for the money. The Pakistani players are useless, but I guess they will draw the crowd in the Sharjah as there are many Pakistanis there.

Just wondering from where this huge budget is coming. Only sponsorship is not going to supply that amount of money, is it? Today's PA report indicated a question mark on that too.

Don't know, but Dhaka Sports have bought him in the auction.
He is still not on the roster for KKR, may be they will let him go if he wants to play in PCL.

Basically it says Kolkata based Bengal Tigers will participate in PCL. The team is led by Deep Dasgupta, and will include veterans such as Sairaj Bahutule, Debashis Mohanty, LR Shukla, and RR Parida.
* I guess Shukla won't be playing as he is now with KKR.
