Lots of promise shown, lots to learn yet. Hopefully this is the start of a wonderful career ahead.

One of the commentators pointed out that Rubel's left arm drops too soon before the delivery, so he bowls towards the leg stump/down the leg side. The next delivery, he bowled the leg side and you could see why. Maybe our bowling coach can work with him and fix that problem.

LOL That was entertaining to watch. You don't often see destructive spells from Bangladeshi fast bowlers where they scare the **** out off the batsmen. Rubel did that for a change today.

Congrats to Rubel. Excellent bowling.

But, in no way, can you deny that Mash was the peach of the bowlers today. I mean Sanga's wicket?! That was unbelievable!

The first BD pacer to appear to have some genuine pace. Hope he will improve on his control and does not go over board with the short stuff.

Really I never seen any bangladeshi bowler can bowl so many short effective bouncer(threatening bouncer not Shahadat type bouncer) at a stretch. But he require lot to learn. He will improve continuously. He should keep in the team under shadow of mash.

He can reverse, only require little control and also require to learan how to bowl slow and yorker. Also he can also improve his pace 5 yard more

Great Debut

Good prospect just like Mashrafee. He has regularly clocked 137+. Beaten Sanath more than couple of times.

Rubel can be just as good as malinga, if not better... he needs to be groomed properly. I hope the board does not do a "enamul jnr" on him.
