will we see Abdul Razzaq vs Naveed Rana clash once again ??

Abdul Razzaq performed brilliantly last year and he has unfinished job to do this year with Abahoni...and that is to bring the CUP to Abahoni shelf !!

Beside his back is against the wall now, he knows unless he can score some serious runs in the DPL, finding a place in the world cup team will be really hard. So whoever buys him will probably end up getting a decent return.

Just to give you guys a heads up. Mo bhai will start a Fantasy League for DPL. We are doing one right now for the NCL one day matches. We have about 9 teams right now. Hopefully during the DPL there will be more.
that's why his salary should be cut off,so that he knows je or oti joghonno obostha...

Same here. Young generation needs to be encouraged to be a fast bowler & money in the domestic league is a big factor in that.

Exactly. Life is very unfair if you are fast bowler.

Well fast bowlers can make decent money but its the pool that kills them. All the teams want to pack their team with nationalteams batsman so no one really wants the bowlers.

^^^ This year the rule was different. All the national pacers got their team before the actual transfer date.

As far as the domestic pitch is made and club officials are concerned, fast bowlers usually dont contribute much. Avg Fast bowlers often dont finish thier quote, they dont score much and leak more runs than spinners. Batsmen ofen are alrounders and can contribute with ball. I gues thats the mentality. Mashrafee is an alrounder and you will see he is actually the highest paid player for several years running...

Shafiul and Rubel has to be good finisher like Abrur Razzak and then you will see how their salary jump...

I don't want them in our local league even if they offer me a blank check! SA and Eng are two of our group stage opponents.

No. Abahani and Mohammedan believe in local pacers, which is a good thing for future.

Abahani got Mashrafe.

Rasel playing for Gazi Tank, which is a rich team.
Shafiul for Biman.

Clubs’ Tiger hunting over
Inter-club player transfers begins on Nov 6

Staff Correspondent
With the inter-club player transfers for the upcoming Dhaka Premier League looming closer, almost all 22 players of national pool have finalised their clubs, said the players and club officials.
Former skipper Mohammad Ashraful is the latest player to confirm his side, changing his destination from Mohammedan SC to Cricket Coaching School. Mohammedan decided to complete their pool player quota with Tamim Iqbal, Faisal Hossain and Sakib al Hasan with the latter joining from their arch-rivals Abahani.
Abahani roped in Mahmudullah from Mohammadan and he along with Mashrafee bin Murtaza and Imrul Kayes are completing their quota of three pool players. Abahani released Nazmul Hossain and Robiul Islam, who are joining newcomers Prime Doleshwar and CCS respectively.
Last year’s runners-up Bangladesh Biman will retain the services of Mushfiqur Rahim, Jahirul Islam and Shafiul Islam while Syed Rasel will join Shahriar Nafees and Naeem Islam to complete the quota of Gazi Tanks. Gazi released Abdur Razzak who will join DOHS along side Aftab Ahmed and Rubel Hossain.
Middle-order batsman Roqibul Hassan and paceman Shahadat Hossain will play for Kalabagan KC while Surjo Tarun are close to signing Junaed Siddique and Sohrawardi Shuvo.
Of the 12 clubs, only Victoria, BKSP and newcomers Orient SC have no pool players at their disposal.
The inter-club players’ transfer will begin on November 6 and the Dhaka Premier League is scheduled to begin on December 18, three days after the five-match one-day series against Zimbabwe concludes.

I wish this year in DPL we will get some fast wicket so that pacers will get some extra value.Otherwise same old story as a bowler Riyad and Ash will get more value than Russel and Shahadat.

Eto Hashir ki ache re bhai. Bad times shobar jibonei ashe.

Its good that Ash is getting less money than Mash and Shak. It will make him work hard on his consistency. Sometimes a kick on the butt is necessary, you know.

He performed quite well in last two seasons of DPL. Averaged 40+.

Shakib is not a good performer in DPL or NCL. He had a poor tournament last year with Abahani. Averaged only 19 with the bat playing 11 matches.
