I agree with this.

I do not find anything wrong if Sakib refuse to give autograph or mobile number. You never know, probably he was in a hurry or something and refused for autograph, this is very common for celebrities.

Considering the kind of things Indian or Pakistani players (who are from similar cultural background as ours) get upto, we don't need to worry too much.

Though I have to say this, Kaler Kantha is the champion of sensationalist Journalism.

Just look at the picture. It's clearly cut and paste! This is rubbish! I am sickened by the standard of the journalists these days. Well, you don't expect that much when these guys are fed by corrupt businessmen.

Absolute ajaira and irresponsible article aimed at two of our key players for the worldcup... people should avoid selfish journalists like this who would try to destabilize the national team in order to mend their bruised ego...

I here by rename this newspaper "B**ler Kontho"

Ditto. These shows how selfish these journalists can be. This article kind of comes out of nowhere. It is not as if something like this happened has last week, everyone is talking about this and thus they felt obliged to give a comprehensive list of such incidents. On the contrary, the team morale is on a all time high, WC is knocking at the door, and the national cricketers are doing well in NCL. Everyone is excited for positive reasons, and then these selfish journalists come forward with this list just because they were rebuffed by those cricketers. I personally think that none of our cricketers are any obligation to share there cell number with every journalist on the world. When they are talking at a press-conference or something like that, they should obviously follow some guideliens. But beyond that, as far as I know, they are no rules anywhere which that they have to agree to interview with ANY journalist. It is not as if they have shunned the press completely. They are just avoiding a third-class sensationalist newspaper which they have every right to do.

Also, I don't agree with the argument that cricketers should be indebted to the media for their "star" status. If a player performs (e.g., Shakib, Tamim), he does not need the media to glorify him. He will become a star with his own merit. On the other hand, if a player is inconsistent in his performance, no amount of media adulation can keep his star status (e.g., Ashraful).

So if a player refuses to give his Autograph then he is considered to have done a evil deed?

Now it is an indirect advertising for that news paper here. Very innovative thinking by KK.

agreed... the greatest muscial example of this feat would be Iron Maiden... they have achieved worldwide stardom without MTV or radio play.... with the sheer power of their music...

Kaler kontho is a paper and cockroach is also a bad. I do not believe a single line in Kaler Kontho - they are the mouth piece of Basundhara the largest land graber of Bangladesh and also associated with other crimes including killing.
