Paul Nixon, now where did i hear that name before?
Isnt he the keeper who was just in the main team not that long ago?

.....Good luck to BD A.
They need to put up a much better show this time around.
Last innings of the last match was inexplicable.

Default Mosharraf is not that good

Agreed. Mosharraf is not doing well at all. May be he is good in domestic cricket only.

May be we should not so impatient to write a player off after his first match of the tour.

Nazmul has performed admirably so far on this tour and I'm sure he'll impress again against Leics. In seaming conditions I think he should be selected for the national team ahead of dolar or reza. he's a genuine bowler (unlike reza) and not so young as to be overawed by the occassion (like Sajidul and dolar)...

I've been impressed by the way reza's bowling has improved, but his selection makes no sense to me. The fact is there are better guys around, he's only picked because of his batting ability. yet in ODIs he's failed to shown this so we are better off with an out and out bowler...

Well if you ask me to pick a spinner between Sakib and Rubel, I would probably go with Sakib. Just my personal opinion.

Ask any international player who has faced shakib and I bet they will tell you he is a 1st choice spinner. He's definitely better than Mosharraf right now....

and also rubel is easy to pick up. He has lack of variation. I wonder why Rafiq named him!

Leicestershire vs. Bangladesh A Preview Tuesday, 15th July 2008

Leicestershire will name a side with a blend of youth and experience for the three-day game against Bangladesh A on Wednesday.

Jim Allenby, who batted magnificently at Derby to nearly guide the team to victory with an unbeaten 72, will skipper the side in the absence of Paul Nixon.

Boeta Dippenaar, Tom New and Matthew Boyce will all hope to get runs under their belt, while Tom Smith – who batted and bowled brilliantly throughout at Derby– will also take part in the match.

Youngsters James Taylor and Greg Smith are set to make up the rest of the batting line-up, with Jigar Naik, Johan Malcolm, Harry Gurney, Ryan Cummins, Sam Cliff and Dan Rowe competing for bowling places after recent appearances in the second XI.

The tourists will provide a good test for Leicestershire ahead of the Pro40 game against Essex and the Championship match at Northamptonshire, which begins next Tuesday.

It also presents an opportunity for the batsmen to spend time in the middle. After a great start to the season with the bat, senior coach Tim Boon is keen for his team to find that form again.

He wants his players to spend time at the crease after the team failed to register a single batting bonus point in the last two Championship games. Boon said: "Our top-order batters have to start producing the goods. They have to take responsibility and build partnerships."

The batsmen are expected to get a test from Nazmul Hossain, who recently took five wickets against Warwickshire and has already played 17 ODIs, while the bowlers should look out for Rajin Saleh, who has a test best score of 89 to his name and likes to occupy the crease.

The visitors will be skippered by Junaid Siddique, an opening batsman who has also played test matches, ODIs and an international Twenty20.

Admission to all three days is free, so why not come down to Grace Road and watch the team in action?

A Weak Bowling Attack it seems With our Batsmen it won't matter, I don't know the conditions but if it isn't overcast I would Bat, but their Batsman re struggling as well maybe a good time for Rasel to get in the Wickets.
