It was close but strategy wise gota give credit where it belongs...great calculated win and Ohio made the difference three years ago decision came to help this time...but I am worried like many others about reality...gridlocks will continue and it will slow down many things..overall long term impact will come in next few years...but let's congratulate for today's accomplishment then we can come back again when party will be over...

If you ask me, Romney made alot of silly mistakes. He pushed in every direction possible, just not enough in the right ones. :S

So, Obama wins.
Congrats to him and his supporters.
Someone as an outsider who didnt follow this year's election closely, I never doubted Obama's win really.

Pretty tame speech until the end. Set the tone alright. "Black or white, young or old, rich or poor, able or disabled, gay or straight you can make it in America"

This hasn't been confirmed but it would be unsurprising if it happened:
Obama to visit Myanmar this month, official says
(AFP) – 2 hours ago
Quote:
YANGON — Newly re-elected US President Barack Obama will visit Yangon later this month, a Myanmar government official said Wednesday, in the latest sign of Washington's support for reforms in the former pariah state.
"Obama will come to Yangon on November 19. He will meet with the president and Daw Aung San Suu Kyi here," the official told AFP on condition of anonymity, adding further details were unavailable because of security concerns.

Obama victory, but let he will still be opposed by stubborn Republicans as the Senate is pretty much unchanged, Republicans lost a few seats (thanks to the Tea Party), but can still oppose anything Obama even suggests. The house also seems to belong to the Republicans.
Republican Party needs a new face, their social conservatism is dying breed to the changing demographics, and if it continues to be like this then it will just be a cakewalk for Democrats in the future. And those **** in the Tea Party during their primaries pretty much scared off any minority support, even Bush was able to garner the support of the Latinos, which those idiots squandered.
