Taskin has a brain which many players in this team lacks, I am certain he will be one of our pace greats.

Razzak and Forhad are next to go after this tourney.

My Xi would have:
Taijul
Zia
Shamsur

Sir Phorhad is our fittest cricketer. He could have become a rugby player if he didn't decide to grace our cricket team with his presence.

I should be the happiest man in BC right now, but Rubel isn't that bad honestly. If somebody needs to be injured (Yes, in this case I am wishing this guy was injured for the sake of Bangladeshi cricket) it should be Razzak and FforFaltu-Eza. Is there anyway, ANYWAY in this world that might actually happen? Get Taskin to bowl a bouncer at them maybe? I don't care if you say to not wish injury upon even your enemy but these players will play again, and ruin our matches, we will lose from a winning position, and if we are losing they will make sure there is no doubt that we are going to lose. Sorry but I can't do anything but wish and pray they are not in our team, however that is possible and in this case the only way possible is through an injury of someone already in the team.

It ll be great to see Taskin Ahmed. But are we risking him with the rigors of international cricket. Is he ready for it, physically? Having just come back from injury. Last thing we need is our hottest prospect getting sidelined for a long time because of long term injury

Tricky situation, and great dilemma.

t20s fine, ODIs ok, tests...he most likely needs a couple of seasons for his body to get use to that, then again pacers in BD don't exactly get as many overs in domestics as they do in other countries so it's still a big jump even for an experienced hand.

Guys, I think it's almost official and our prayers have been heard by Allah. Taskin is set to play this world cup and the announcement is going to arrive sometime in the afternoon. Alhamdulillah.

Now the most important fix that's needed, somehow get Zia in and fix the team line up by introducing Gazi and fix the middle order with Shamsur and Mominul which is doable as they are already in the squad. So the most imminent fix that's needed is getting Zia in. Welcome Taskin, the world should be yours now... The happiest I have been for a long time. Can't wait to see him in action!

^ Mash might also be out. Which would open doors to both Taskin & Zia.

One more spinner (Taijul/Sunny) IN somehow and I'm very optimistic about our chances in the next stage!

When we are at it, why don't we bring in Mukhtar Ali and Taijul as well. If you want to replace then do it fully. If there is rust here and there, cleaning or replacing one cog or wheel won't help.

A much anticipated debut. This kid MUST be persisted with as he learns the game at this level on the fly. Very happy to see this. I hope Sohan finds a way to get in soon. Class is permanent.

So no point of taking Taskin. But if we take Zia he will play for Veza straightway. Please think logically. ..-----------------

Thanks BCB to understand logically.
Now time to replace razzak.but how?

At the cost of being bashed can I just say we are hyping Taskin way too much! Hopefully he has a good future but some members se to think here he will just walk in and turn the world upside down. In all likelihood he will get bashed all over the park if he does play. That's the reality. I hope I'm wrong.

I hope and pray he sets things on fire from his first ball though he probably won't. But his extraordinary talent is undeniable and hence my excitement.

I hope he is brought in.

But if Mashrafee is fit, then I think we should brought in instead. Ideally, team management will go with Mashrafee and Al-amin which means Taskin will sit out. Zia on the other hand will mean a usefull blind slogger down the order and someone who can take pace off the ball.
