433 is more than enough, North should declare. Or are they waiting for Freza's century?

North declared with 448 lead. Poor Freza stuck at 75.

North Zone have a good total on the board. Scored quite quickly at the end also.

Hey, he bullied the national team too, albeit in a practice match.

So, is this end of Imrul Kayes (as far as his prospect for national team is concerned) ?

I wouldn't go that far knowing how weak our top order is but I would definitely not consider him for the SL tour. If he can't score against domestic level bowlers, then he'll definitely falter against SL bowlers, regardless of format

yes would be great if soumya hit a ton here, would put his name properly into the mix for an opener spot.

Imrul might not have proved himself in tests but he has shown time and time again that he is an ODI specialist. He usually does well in DPL and in the practice match against WI he scored a 50.

I was checking full length about Mysukur yesterday. He passed from B K S P. Did not play U 19 national cricket. He was in our academy. This year he is doing good. Last year he had a poor season but 09-10 was a good year too. So he is a bit eratic. But improving. No doubt he is a good prospect.

I have seen him play, but that was back in 2007-8. I am not sure how much he has improved from then, but he is an accumulator. He is in the Rokibul mould, I know it's not saying much, but I reckon he can outdo Rokibul quite easily.
Also given the amount of runs he has scored, I think he will be near the national team in the next 2-3 years.

North started well. They need to all out South to go to the final.
South Zone 117/3
Soumya playing a responsible innings so far.

soumya has never scored an FC ton, wonderful prospect, i reckon he'd quite possibly be in the national fold right now had he scored a couple of FC tons, converted a couple of those 50s but he hasn't managed it.

now that i checked his stats he got 9 50s but no 100. hes still very young as far as i know. lets hope he matures and start hitting some big tons from next season and do some justice to his talent. we dont have many bright young batting prospects so we badly need soumya, asif, maisuqur, miznur, farhad hossain, sabbir to shine and keep putting pressure on national team players. asif really dissapointed me this season so has mizanur and farhad. soumya and maisuqur are at least getting some starts.

shuvagata is a great talent also but he to disappointed this season. tasamul is another good young prospect, he seems to be forgotten a lot of the time.

Agreed. I'd wait a few more years. He doesn't seem to be on the level of Anamul yet. Needs more academy/A team exposure.
