Mash had an Econ. Rate of under 6 after his third over. He can't handle the pressure after the 15th over so i genuinely believe he should be bowled off by the 15th over.

Never on earth I'll miss SN, he is the most crappy player against decent bowling. His stats will reflect my comment.
I will bank on Riyad instead of rasel but we are really Alok and Aftab. Both can even chip in with a few overs if necessary.......

This is just a simply idiotic comparison, how on earth you compare Mash with that useless bowler? I know Mash may not be the best of death bowlers, but his opening spells are still among the bests in the business. Today also he just gave 16 runs from his 3 overs, but his last over ruined the spell. Against the Aussies his opening spell was quite good too, the ball was moving sharply but that drop catch from Tamim let all his hard work go vain. I agree being an experienced campaigner like he is, he should work on his death bowling, but even after all these he's still the best that we've got.

Vai, if you miss Alok and Aftab, mu condolences. I know how you feel as a fan. But they chose money over us. I may miss them but my pride won't allow me to miss them too much.
Now, consider these points:
By all stats, Aftab was our best T20I bat. We miss him. But he's too much of an Ash. At least with Ash you get one/two eid innings per year. But Aftab was just a blazing start and an emberassing end. Riyad wion't fill his shoes, but he'll get the job done far more often. Imagine what happened to day. Had it not for Rock and Mushy's steady batting, we'd have creened off to 120. Like a run away train, blazing start but soon toppled.
I won't comment on Alok. Stats shows he's pure crap in T20I and a few ICL innings has convinced me he's a top league minnow basher. Rock is a better prospect for ODI's and test. For T20I, he'd need to change his strategy a bit, like conceding a LOT less dot balls.
True, we'll miss Razzak of the Olde. Hopefully he'll get in to rythm with his changed action once again, like he did before.
Hopefully you feel better now.

Well I am pretty pleased with the match. Yes we had some mental mistakes but I felt that the team kept their heads up and made this a competitive match. Ash, Tamim, and Shakib all look in good form as they have all gotten starts. Mushy played well in my opinion today while Rakib seems way too slow for Twenty20. I have no idea what to do about the 2nd opener spot but I guess we'll have to stick with Junaed for now. If it wasn't for that run out between Ash and tamim, 170 would have been very possible.
If we don't make any silly mistakes in the India match, I feel that we have a decent shot at winning. A good sign for me is that we don't have to have our "day" to beat India. If we play kind of like we did today and limit some of the mental mistakes, there is a good chance we will win.

I loved the final words from Cricinfo:
In the final reckoning it hadn't quite given them enough to play with, but if they show the same courage in the actual tournament they will worry other sides.

Bowling should be:
Mashrafe: 4 overs (bowled off before the 15th over)
Rasel: 4 overs
Shakib: 4 overs
Razzak: 4 overs
Rubel: 4 overs (should start after 10 overs and bowl the 18th and 20th over)
Backup: Riyad, Zunaed, Nayeem (if he plays but I dont want him in the XI)
Last resort: Ash

well, his yorkers are becoming full tosses because he is scared :s dats wat i think. Thanks to a few bad last overs by him, he is mentally disturbed, :\ His slower deliveries were quite effective, today and yesterday he shud stop bowling length to the batters.
but yes, he shud be the trump card during the final overs, which he isnt doing.

On the contrary! Two new batsmen in...you put pressure on them by plugging ones. You certainly dont give them an easy run to get off the mark! Basic stuff really.
But, Yes, he has handled the bowlers pretty well.

So I guess the best isn't good enough.
We want victories, it's sad watching our team loose matches after matches. When will we get results, we shouldn't praise Mash after one or two winning performances. Do we need to sound like Indian fans? If Mash played for a better team he would have been dropped by now, anyway let's hope he gets his rhythm back.
