Default Finally someone from Chittagong

Represent brother! Represent! That's my dawg! I was getting tired of all these sylhotis. Kick out all the sylheitta dominance and the oppression they inflict on the national team.

-sorry to open a new topic about Nasif :P but i had to.

Default Sylheti

I know. Pretty soon, the number one requirement to become a Bangladeshi coach would be to be able to communicate in Sylheti.

How about a game between Sylhetis vs. non sylhetese.
Alok, Taposh, Shanto, Enamul Jr., Rajin...
Thats a damn good bowling line-up.

I personally hate the "localized patriotism". Its one small country, we are all the same.

We are just having fun, my friend. Trust me, when Rajin has five ducks in a row, we'll yell at him, "Who the hell do you think you are? Injamam? Go back to the under 19 team."

Actually there were a time when we had 6 players in the national team from Chittagong. But I am really happy to see players coming out from out side Dhaka, as any one who played cricket in Bangladesh knows the Infra-structure difference between Dhaka and other cities.

Default Sylhet deserves to host test / ODI matches

Having so many players from Sylhet, the Bangladesh Cricket Board is still reluctant to host test / ODI matches in Sylhet. A divisional stadium was supposed to be built, but, with no luck ! Can you imagine the fact as how much revenue would have been generated if test crickets were played in Sylhet? Dhaka, Chittagong and then, Syhet should have been given the chance to organize Test matches, not, Rajshahi or Khulna (they come next). I would equally blame the organizers from Sylhet to make the case louder. Syhet got the right foot after the divisional squad was put in place. Chittagong / Comilla declined from that time. I don't want to sound as a regionalist, but the fact should be pointed out.
