Wondered for a moment, which big football match was there yesterday, apart from Spain-Nigeria.. Then remembered, you were from Kolkata, India were in the final and probably posted in the wrong thread! Anyhow, Tuborg >>>> KF

Cavani or Suarez?

Suarez has been the more impressive one in the Confed by a mile.

Suarez would be good with Ronaldo up front.

I woke up early to watch Nigeria vs Spain expecting a whooping but i was highly impressed by the Nigerian team. Even though it was 3-0 they beat the Spain defenders on a number of occasions and should have scored 2 or 3 goals.

Their midfield is good but their finishing was very poor. They missed 2 shockers up front that should have been put away. Musa was very impressive on the wing. One to watch out for the future. Only 20 years of age. So much potential.

It was a very good match to watch.

Thanks, it was Carlsberg all the way, and way too many at that.

Was hoping for a Spain vs Uruguay finale, but was expecting Brazil to make it.

Spain vs Italy in the semis today.

Today's game will be a low scoring affair. Any team that scores a goal, will probably win it.

Wouldn't be surprised if it goes to ET.

Remember the Luis Enrique nose-bleed in the semi/quarter finals in USA '94?

Nice guess bhai.

Xavi had a nice strike at goal in the dying stages of ET.

How good is Navas - Iniesta - Xavi

As soon as Penalty kicks started I told my dad, I bet you some Italian player will hit it over the cross bar. He should have just kept it simple, and went for a low kick, so far that worked out for everyone else. He didn't need to be all fancy and try to go for the top corner.

How weird was Fred's goal? He was on the floor and he still managed to kick it into goal
