May be under the cover of poor BD catchers, it's easy for some fixing pros to "fish in the marky waters...!!" Can't say anything for sure, who can? .... will wait for Murali's memoires of BPL 1, expected to b published in a few years.

You assume a certain level of competence for them to deliberately fail. Though most of the drops do seem to have been committed by foreigners...

Easy drop catches make me feel it is a 'parar league'.

i had these same exact thoughts.

I think this is a concern. During Pakistan series, our national players dropped a lot of dollies, I think our fielding coach(Jason Swift) should seriously look into this.

It was a terrible mistake to let Julien go. Mad at BCB and Loitta Kamal Shaheb.

The foreign players have put on a lower standard of fielding in the BPL than the local boys, and some of the catch drops from them were relatively easier chances. Having said that, the ground fielding has generally been very good thus far, but the few dropped catches in both games every single day is not something I think we can draw a whole lot from.

The likes of Nasir/Naeem/Imrul have dropped sitters and the kids have held onto some tough ones. Does this suddenly change the overall fielding standard of Bangladesh as a national unit ? I wouldn't think so. The better fielders will always be better fielders regardless. The lesser ones just need to work on their techniques. Only then the standard of fielding in our country will move up collectively.
