Default The current selectors of Bangladesh Team

So nobody blames the selectors who chose Shahadat and Nazimuddin for the final despite continuous failures throughout the tournament (infact they shouldnt even be in the squad in the first place), they looked absolutely out of sorts even in those BD wins, nazimuddin looked like a fish out of water, shahadat was leaking runs like water. The current selectors of the Bangladesh team are probably the worst i have seen, lets not let the good performance of the BD team hide this fact. Where was Ashraful, Anamul, Sunny and Junaed who performed miles better than those two in recent BPL?

Btw enough with the Shahadat hate only, i thought Nazimuddin was worse, 16 off 52 balls is one of the worst innings i have ever seen in an ODI. He cost us more with that innings

i don't think it's selectors fault...selectors chose the squad but the playing eleven is chosen by the team management...i don't know who is in the team management but they are certainly making some wrong decisions...

1. if shafiul wasn't injured, they would never have picked nazmul and we might have lost the match against the lankans.

2. if imrul kayes played today, one of imrul/tamim would have stayed longer at the crease...nazimuddin didnt deserve to be in final after failing in all previous matches with zero footwork and technique...

3. if one of anamul/sunny were picked, it would have strengthen our bowling or batting...Shahdat should have been dropped for any of these two...

4. today was not the day to promote nasir up the order with so expectations from the crowd and his inexperienced showed...

but mushfiq's choice to give shahadat the last over cost us the game...that one over shifted the momentum....never i have seen/felt in cricket how crucial one over can be

I blame Mushfiq, his decision to let Shahadat bowl the last over made us lose the game. Pure stupidity.

Congratulations to the selectors again for the very clever decision to include Abul Hasan in the squad, he has great pace and is a good fielder too.

All hail Habibul Bashar and Akram Khan

But what are our other choices? Shahadat? The only other bowler i can think of is Nazmul. But then they will say they gave him a chance in Zimbabwe, he didnt deliver.

He failed once in forty decades. ONCE in FORTY decades. Abul hasn't even had a good spell that many times. Why does he get in over Nazmul?

Thank you selectors, with your intelligent selections, you have proven once again why we used to lose to Turkmenistan when you were cricketers.

Selectors are responsible for even considering Abul in the squad, but for today's match Captain and coach are responsible.

Not only the selectors, but what is Shane Jurgensen doing? Enough is enough, he's had his time and hasn't done jack. BCB please fire him, bow down and kiss Pont's feet until he agrees to come back, or hire someone else, but please no more Jurgensen. This just isn't working out.

Absolutely. Its a crucial game and you select a 19 yr old. It was the same pathetic selection of shahadat in the asia cup final and his decision to bowl him the last over that cost us that final. So mushy as captain has already done irrepairable damage to our chances

I was very upset with the exclusion of Elias Sunny, to me it made absolutely no sense.
