I hope this opens up the window for Ian Pont.
best wishe to Law.. even though I belive Banladesh's positive performance has nothing to do with Law but BPL. Law was a flop in BPL too and if you look.. none of the sylhet royals played in Asia cup.
BCB please hire IAN PONT by tomorrow!

I know the real reason...Law is quitting the job because of this and this.

I dont think Pakistan tour had an impact on this decision . He already notified BCB through his agent a couple of days back .
Good luck Stuart Law and thanks for your service to our cricket.
BCB - Please dont waste time and resources advertising for a coaches vacancy . There is only one man for this job and he is a BC member .

Speculative reasons in addition to family issues:
Not enjoying my job
Not much cricket to deal with in a year
Too much politics
Lastly, they want to send me to Pakistan (tbh - if I were a non-asian and were in a job where I am to be sent to Pakistan, my wife and kids would have forced me to resign, can't blame on him for this!)

His resignation will be effective from June 30 . So there is a chance he might be with the team to Pakistan.

definitely there is a link between this and us touring Pakistan now.

Lol where does he say he needs more time with his family? Family reasons can be meant as unexpected events etc. too!
And let's see if he tours Pakistan as he will be our coach until the end of June.

If he wants to go, he goes. Get in that replacement quick. I sure as hell wouldn't mind Lance Klusner!

Klusener is a worse choice comparing to Ian. That guy is a bowler, and Ian is a bowling coach... And he has a good coaching career, comparing to klusener has nothing... We don't need a star as coach ... We just need a coach who will silently do his job.... Of coaching.

Klusener turns down Bangladesh coaching role
Lance Klusener, the former South Africa allrounder, has finally turned down the offer to take over as Bangladesh's bowling coach, ending a prolonged period of speculation over his possible appointment. Klusener, who was in discussions to replace Sri Lanka's Champaka Ramanayake, was reportedly unable to convince his wife about a permanent move to Bangladesh.
