Bashar indicates changes in the team

Does it mean Chacha and Rajin getting a match?
Quote:
"There is still a lot of grass left on the wicket. Besides, the practice wickets, which normally give an indication how the main wicket will behave, offered bounce and pace. So, I'm not sure whether we would play two spinners," said the Bangladesh captain.

I don't get it, he is still doubting spinners who are doing a far better job than seamers!!!

I don't get it either. I'm getting sick and tired of hearing seaming pitch, and how spinners are useless there. will they ever be less effective than the pacers. i can't think so.

Agreed - it is ridiculous that they leave the spinners out everytime they see a "seaming pitch" - a seaming pitch doesn't automatically make mediocre bowlers any better.
Our slow bowlers have ALWAYS done better than pacers. At least Rana can score 10 runs, why bring in Tapash ?

Bashar does not try to learn from the past.
Do we have a pacer except Mortoza who can bowl against Australia. I think he is not smart enough to be a captain. we need another captain who can understand the situation.

British media is saying even Stuart Karppinen, team's fitness trainer, is a better pacer than Tapash or Nazmul. They may be exaggerating, but, for real, neither of Tapash or Nazmul has any bite in their bowling. Worse, none of them can block runs to create pressure on the opposition.
If Bashar still wants to give Tapash another try, replace Nazmul, leave Rana alone. He may be thinking of bringing Rajin as a back up spinner, if so, I don't think he should have that much confidence in Rajin's offspin.

Give some of the players who didn't play a chance?? This is a joke, right? Instead of trying to go in with full power to play the best game of our life on the last match of the tour our captain makes comments like we assured a spot in the finals or we are a bunch of retards who don't have the will to win. I find it utterly disgraceful that a man who thinks like that is the captain of a team that has infinite potential.

Well, thinking the whole thing over again, the most possible change that may happen is Chacha in place of Rana. Bashar was thinking of playing Sujon in the last game, only after looking at the pitch he decided Rana would be more useful. Well, if Bashar thinks some hammering from Gilchrist and Hayden will be the proper farewell gift for his old buddy, what can I say!!
Tapash or Nazmul? I don't think it really matters.
I just hope he is not mad enough with Javed to replace him with Rajin or Iqbal, that will be suicidal.

Would bangladesh Consider a 6'1" tall seamer with 15 years club cricket experience with descent bowling figures for their team?
Then I would like to tryout for Bdeah team or atleast train with them.

Whether we like it or not, I feel Mahmud is heading for his last ODI appearance. Well, I don't mind that as long as he does not replace Rafique or Rana. In that case he can replace Nazmul (What else can we do?). If Rajin needs to be in the team, he can replace Nafees/ Tushar. Although I don't see any sense of that. Rajin is lacking confidence at the moment. Give him a break. I hope Bashar does not replace Rafique with Mahmud considering his previous disput with Rafique.

Every match against any test nations is seriously important for a team like Bangladesh. We must have to field our best without any question. Specially when we are playing against Australia and England. We are simply not in a position to give a chance who didn't play in this series or bring someone in for a good farewell . We should not forget that we are loosing against them repeatedly by a huge margin, we should take care of that first.

So.... this is the last ODI chacha will be accompanying us. I have a scary gut feeling that the management will be generous enough to let him play it.

What I liked was the comment about wanting to beat England at least once. Shows his inner competitive drive. Sigh! Yet our fans only go hesitant demeanor.
