I like to see Naeem Islam return to the ODI side. He did well the last time he played before suddenly disappearing of the radar. I think he should return for the Zimbabwe series for experience if you are going to rest the seniors.

This is how you put pressure on the selectors.

Tushar Imran has failed to do anything against Sri Lanka A in the FC tournament held earlier in the year. No point in selecting a 35 year old after a decade of being out of the national team. At least the younger guys have time to learn.

Happy for Tushar Imran... hope he keeps going. But even happier to see Ariful and Jubair performing.

He played like one innings where he scored 25 and got out. 2nd test he barely got to bat, was not out for 2 runs. Didn't get picked for the 3rd test.
Hardly anything to take him out of the equation for.

Is Tanbir Hayder really a top-order batsman?

So Ariful went on to make a double century (231)
Rony Talukdar batting on 100*
Shadman with 154
Mizanur with 115
Tushar with another century
Jubair takes a 5-wicket haul

I think Liton has taken that 2nd opener spot for now, he only just started batting there so should get a few games in that position. Nurul kept I believe when Liton opened so he takes up one of those open spots.

The young pacers and batsmen will be interedting to watch. Mishu, shoriful, zakir, afif, al amin, towhid if he plays, saif, Shadman. Also mominul, potentially could lose his test place if h does poorly.

Not really, Sohag Gazi is a genuine test all rounder, he has a record in his debut.

Ariful Haque hit the 50th double ton by a Bangladeshi batsman.
Tushar Imran extends his record to 30 tons.

The opening duo of Abdul Mazid and Rony Talukdar had put some of the best opening stands in the domestic cricket.
