Well said. This was nail biting for some of us... we're used to seeing bangladesh losing ever so frequently that we forgot what it feels like to win... or for that matter - to win convincingly (which really didn't happen in this WC, maybe that AFG game?)

It was never close or scary after the 10th over of the chase. Yes we could have screwed it up, but that's proof the team is making some progress. 58, 78 was only 4 years ago. Failing to chase 100 vs HK was less than a year ago.

For me the MOM for BD is Nasir. I know the batters were excellent but Nasir took crucial wickets and didnt give away too many boundaries. Scotland really didnt score much at the end because they had the tail enders on the crease.

Hey man, sometimes it 1 step forward and 2 steps backward for us. Yes I am optimistic for the next game against England, but at the same time, we might suck...
Think about it, so far, both our bowling and fielding are sucking. We won this game because A) Scottish bowling is toothless, and B) Our top order took responsibility. So basically we won this game through only ONE department - batting. In critical games against top order nations, your other two departments need to play to their potential.

Jadukor bhai, for Bangldesh, we don't win some and we lose some... For Bangladesh, we lose some, lose some more, win some, lose some more, lose again, win some... Our Win/Lose ratio sucks!!!
Why is it so hard to win convincingly against associates???

Props to Riyad for talking some sense into Tamim. Once again, Tamim plays well when he bats with another sr player. Although TIK is a sr player himself he's still a child. Riyad also played a very positive inning and set up our chase.

Why he was in the squad today? It should have been Sunny/Taijul as Scotland is/was comfortable with pace and weak to play spin.
Our team mgt have less ghilu than Nemo!

Good win and chase. To be honest I also thought we had lost the game in half. Great courage shown by the batsman. On to the next one.

I am wondering what Haturi was explaining to Gangsta during the final few balls remaining in our innings.

I think this win was as convincing as it gets. We had a dislocated shoulder, limping captain, broken toe and we overcame all that and won against a well prepared team. Scotland were much used to playing in NZ than us and we had a huge total to chase. We did it. Now the haters will say it was a batting paradise blah blah. The fact is we got 2 points and our batting now has self belief that we can chase anything england throw at us. Perfect game from tigers and i am over the moon as a fan

Thanks Jadukor bhai. I am beginning to let go of my pessimism. Lets go England, they better be scared coming in to play against Bangladesh with this batting line up. Bowling and fielding needs to backup our batsmen next game and we should win iA!!!!
