This is based on relative assumptions, look at the video, he is talking down to mic, plus look at the guy in the background, hands on hips, 1999 pants. He is relatively small compared to Shoriful, I'd say he is between 5 foot 6 -6 foot 3

His action is not fluent yet which is understandable. Needs to do a lot of work. Seems to be bowling around 135 region. Dont want him to get selected now and spoiled. Build him up in next 2 years.

Let’s just watch him progress, Manik is reasonably tall and he’s not really got anywhere but I’m sure we became aware of him around the same time as taskin and fizz.

Next 2?

He should be built up slowly for next 4 years, by the the world Cup sheet next he'll still only be 21

CricInfo Profile of Shoriful Islam:
Bowling style: Left-arm medium-fast
Height: 6 ft 30 in (8 ft 6 in)

Anyway, from the video, he seems like a 130-135 kph bowler. But his action of stretching his delivery arm far behind and quickly dragging it to bowl is a sign of good pace. Moreover, he is lefty, tall and near only 17.

BCB should closely monitor these young fast bowlers, let them play age-based competitions and domestics and then tour them with 'A' team before finally drafting for national team. That should be around age 21.

Check his facial hair. He is 18-19 yo unless he’s been tested. If he is 6’3” he doesn’t need to be overly quick.

This kid is a legit 6'3" maybe even 6'4". He's taller than Taskin for sure and also Manik. Look how he's towering over Mashrafee despite already being all the way down the pitch by the WK. Mash is 6'1".

He might even be taller than Shahadat and Shanto.

Even if he’s 18/19 he’s still very young and has time, looks decent but hard to tell too much from the footage so far.

He needs to be coached well and not by some WI legend who does not know what hes doing. Should add extra yards as he grows up.

When was the last time someone came in as a star from the domestic league to shine in the International stage? All of our best players such as Shakib, Tamim, Mahmudullah, Mushfiq, Mustafizur and Mashrafe were given International exposure at an early age, while domestic wonders like Liton Das can't even get past 40 in 12 ODI.

Shanto was at least 6'2" possibly 6'3" which is Shahadat's height.
