India's loss in this tri series is quite expected. They have just won an ICC tournament and it should be hard to lift after that and stay motivated in such a short space of time. Sri Lanka had a point to prove and they were the hungrier side.

Now the path for India is very difficult since both West indies and Sri Lanka won with a bonus point.

It was surprising to see Murali Vijay in the playing XI, or even in the ODI squad for that matter. I can somewhat agree on Rohit Sharma given multiple chances since he's still young. But that is simply not the case with Vijay. If him, then why not Yuvraj, who has a much better proven record in ODIs, apart from being a very efficient SLA. Also if they're looking for a player with a similar tempo, there is one young Cheteshwar Pujara sitting in his home.

Kohli is not captain material. Not yet.

He got a century. I didn't watched the 2nd innings so can't say about his leadership in the field and whether he showed any improvement. I'd definitely like him to be the next captain as he's the best available option, what I was implying is that he still has to show a lot of improvement in that particular department, which will come through time.

Even I was surprised when I checked the scores in the morning. Thought it was a good batting pitch. Even Roach and Narine had a 50 run partnership. Pollard is going through a bad run of late.

But it does make the tournament interesting though.

Bounce on the pitch changed after rain. Batsmen didn't adapt and poor shot selection especially from Pollard again! . Imagine Roach looks like a better batsman than him now lol.

WI at times looks great but at times they look pathetic. They've improved on the consistency but they still come in sometimes with garbage performances. I knew India would come back but WI is capable of putting up a much better performance than that

Pollard needs to be dropped seriously.

Threat of rain messed up the run chase.
