Bangladesh Passport
guyz...dont u reckon our passport looks rather [edit] when compared to ones from overseas??
it seriously looks awful.....all hand written as if we come from some primitive country.....
the passport guy (the one who wrote it) scribbled my details so bad that the ppl reading my passport at airport nd other places actually have to look closer to understand...
most passports are now typed...i wonder why we cant adopt that method...i mean how hard is it to have a fully typed passport??

I like the way my passport look. The person who wrote my detail in passport has a very good hand writting. As most of the countries passport is typed is not it cool that our one is handwritten. Not archaic but more human.
On the side note once biometric passport started to issue, i think there would be typed one availble.

I dont think its the scribbles that make them look closer at your details. Its the passport itself that invokes suspicion. Stupid stereotyping.
I like my passport... If only we werent looked down upon at immigrations...

first the national anthem, now passport.. geez!
i like my passport but the cover page should be improved.. the monogram should look more royal lol... imo, the map should be replaced with the shapla which looks much nicer... in the top it should have the title 'PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF BANGLADESH' then the monogram in the middle and then 'PASSPORT' in big font.... the font should be royal too
mwuahahahaha!

apart from the primitive layout, the biggest problem of BD passport is you cant get bloody get anywhere....its more of a liability....
US and UK are like closed doors....so is many EU countries....
even asian countries prove to be ever hassle...
the other day i applied for a visa at philippines embassy nd they rejected my multiple travel visa, then i asked for a 60 day one....got rejected in that one too...
finally they gave me a 30 day visa....
that day made me realise that hardship of being a bangladeshi national never ends as long as you have

i remember when i was returning bd and transit through kuwait, the woman at the gate checked my pass thrice. actually she did that because i was getting irritated. people behind me were having a laugh.
but we r a bit lucky than some other countries in middle east. imagine how hard it is for them to get visa to europe /america

Have any of you read Les Miserables?
Javert, an ex convict is not allowed lodging or any employment because he has "the yellow papers", which are given to all convicts on release from jail.
The Bangladesh passport reminds me of that
The only country where I actually received a visa faster through my Bangladeshi passport was Iran.
