If only we are not so easily insulted.
Down with chhagus and their dalals. Has the word dalal gone out of favor these days?
In my younger days, when I used to fight the good fight on the net against the shadhinota biddeshis and Pak apologists, I had been called worst. I've been on the net long enough to be called every name in the book - from BAL to Razakaar. A search on soc.culture.bangladesh and the history info on Virtual Bangladesh is a testament to those days.
May Bangladesh be free from the evils that are destroying her - and that pretty much includes almost all the politicians and parties.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Chagu Chagu Umakko (チャグチャグ馬コ) is a horse festival in Iwate Prefecture, Japan. Held on the second Saturday in June, approximately one hundred horses with colourful fittings and bells parade between Sozen Jinja in Takizawa and Morioka Hachiman-gū. [1] The term chagu-chagu is an onomatopoeic expression for the sound made by the horses' bells. [2] In 1978 the festival was recorded as an Intangible Folk Cultural Property. [3] In 1996 the sound of the bells of the Chagu Chagu Umakko was selected by the Ministry of the Environment as one of the 100 Soundscapes of Japan. [4]

Unfortunately, no. Decided to give the driver-bhai day off.
There goes my 1mm fame from Guinness.
Actually, this reminds me to go outside instead of sitting in front of net all day.

42 years since the "Bijoy".
Average Bangladeshis are still oppressed, exploited, widespread rampant corruption, abject poverty, daily political murders, rapes, daily hartals, dirty politics, social divides, regional divides, corrupt and greedy "leaders" and ignorant and uneducated "masses".
Sorry, no empty Bijoy dibosh obhinondon from me! Ki labh hoyeche ei bijoyer...british, bharoti othoba hanader der under e bhaloi chilam.
Bhabte obak hocche ekhane BC te Bangladesher oneeek "creme de la creme" ra bhaben shudhu dariwala Jamati ra rajakar/albodor aar BAL, TAL, BNP, JATIO, Marxist, Nastik, Chagol, Bokri party gulote kuno rajakar nai !! Oneke bhaben dariwala mukto Bangladesh matroi shwadheen Bangladesh.
Such spiritual and intelectual depravity! We get what we deserve!

The term razakar is reserved solely for those who actively opposed the independence of Bangladesh in 1971 and their active supporters today. It is their SPIRITUAL DEPRAIVITY and INTELLECTUAL DISHONESTY that led to the millions killed and the thousands raped and the ongoing struggle for the soul of Bangladesh.
True that there is still oppression, corruption and exploitation extant in Bangladesh and the perpetrators inhabit each and every political party.
If there is a hell, they will all burn but the thermostat will be turned up for the razakars because they hid under the garb of piety and spirituality.
May Bangladesh prosper.

Let us not be deliberately emotional and historically misleading. Rajakar or Al-Badr didn´t kill millions or rape thousands! Former Pakistani govt. and their foot soldiers did. Rajakars were the opportunist henious collaborators. SOME of them have ACTIVELY participated in the killings and rapings. But, I have heard about the rapes by some "freedom fighters" and Indian soldiers, too. Let us not over indulge in scapegoatism. It doesn´t benefit us at all in any way and only distracts us from the real issues. We must be fair; not just to ourselves but to our enemies, too.
There is a burning Hell and ALL sorts of Munafiqs and the enemy of humanity will be its permanent residents -not just the bearded kinds! We don't have to deliberate about the degree of fury of that raging eternal inferno. Unless and God forbid one of us might be walking to that place!
And, I`m NOT a Jamati sympathizer or an apologist! May Bangladesh, TRULY, prosper! (Not just a slogan)

Shubho Bijoy Dibosh!
There are some color footage of Dec 16, 1971 of people celebrating in the street. They were showing it in Bangla channels. That must have been a great day. I wish I was there to feel the energy, freedom and the optimism.
Let's not fight and divide. At the end of the day, I am sure all in BC wants the best for our country. Maybe our way of making it better is different. The roads maybe different but the destination is the same.
