Default Ind at SL 2010 Test series

3 centuries in the first day of the practice match by SL board XI.

From cricinfo:
Quote:
A strong Board President's XI gave the Indians a welcome as harsh as Colombo's humidity. Upul Tharanga ripped into all their bowlers, nearly reaching his century in the first session. Lahiru Thirimanne played the foil to Tharanga's assault, and Thilina Kandamby continued attacking, providing the visitors zero respite despite two quick wickets in the middle session. Thilan Samaraweera struggled a bit, but he too joined in the fun in the final session, taking the score well past 400....

No UDRS in this series despite home board wanted it. India refused to take it as they are not good at it and want to take full advantage of their superiority. Dhoni puts lamest excuse for not taking it by claiming its not 100% correct. I agree with his claim but it should not be any excuse as its still helps the game to reduce the number of umpiring errors. Without UDRS umpire would take 85% correct decisions but with UDRS will take atleast 95% correct decision if not 100%. Dhoni should know 95% percent is better than 85%.

tough times ahead for INDIA..... their bowlers always struggle in SriLanka. i will be up to their batsman to do the job.

bat in tests without bowlers u cant win, so SL are favorites for me.

Expecting another looong and boring series where bowlers will be toyed around with and the pitches will gift the batsmen humongous scores.

yet another Sri Lanka India series...havn't we seen enough of these since 2008?

One good thing i love about the lankans is that They never seem to cease in effort! their total respect for the game is quite noteworthy...

Malinga Story

So much for blaming Champaka R. for our pathetic bowling. He made one of the best fast bowlers today. But all credit to Malinga and his dedication and denominational. He worked hard and became what he is today. Coach can't do that for you.

I'm actually pumped for this series..it will be up to India's batsmen if they want to produce results as their bowling is poor..for Sri Lanka its up to their spinners to take on the Indians..can Mendis bamboozle the Indians once again? I remember last HOME series he totally fooled them..since then I think they've improved playing Mendis but its still gonna be a big test for them..LETS GO SRI LANKA!!!!!

No one makes any1,Malinga was born to be a good bowler, the talent was inside him,Champaka just helped him out, that's all.

I hate when people says "oh that guy was born with that" "oh he is so god gifted". That's not true. I mean I get why people says those things. That's one way of saying how good they are. But too me that just undermines them. Because they work hard to be what they are today. They practiced hour after hours, days after days, and became what they are today. Saying they are good gifted to me is almost like denying the fact of their hard work. If they were "God gifted" or born to do something, then they should have just sat and wait to become good? Or on the other hand, people should just give up and stop trying, thinking they are not "gifted" because they aren't good enough.

I have no doubt that our Rubel Hossain couldn't be as good as Malinga. If he works hard enough.

A special gold coin to be tossed. Murali's face on one side, and some of his masterly stats on the other.

Srilanka batting

Herath has been bowling superb in last one year. Mendis was out of form untill the tour game against India.
