Who is our best batsman to play with our tail-enders
I have to open this strange thread because time has come when we ll have close game like this with our pretty tail enders in future we need re think our gameplan. We don't have lara who can snatch the victory from this situation. I stll believe if mushi or riad would play in this situation with taijul we could do better at least ball by ball plan.
Besides, why our tail enders cannot bat at all thats another big question mark. In odi 6/ 7 wkts gone we collapse in 10 runs.

Abul Hasan is the best number 8-11 for test cricket.
Mahmudullah should bat lower too. He bats better with the tail. Not that he scores any tons, but that's just his limit in test cricket really, getting those 30s and 40s now and then, hanging around with the tail.

Sabbir should and will eventually swap with Mullah at 4. Sabbir is more complementary to our current Top 3 than Mullah. With Mullah the tail whisperer down the order, the bottom won't be as inexperienced and vulnerable. Can't have two newbies batting together at the bottom! Plus, Mullah has better chemistry with his in-law and Shak.
Mullah can keep his no. 4 in ODI'S tho. Do not want to see him not take hard singles or take the areal shots so he can stay not out at the end. Nasir is a better closer. Sabbir at 3 in ODI's is ideal.

for every 30 that abul scores he will leak an equal amount in 4 overs.

Based on his last bowling innings 4years ago?
Since them years ago, hasn't Abul any strides with the bowl, taking any 5fers or anything in domestic?
I'm sure Abul has learnt a thing or two since then. At over 6ft, he has decent pace, can bend the back. With proper guidence he will come decent.
Some players boom late, like the homie Mullah and others. Abul, might well that type in terms of bowling.

Lol @ Abul. If you want Abul because he can bat, then rope in a batsmen, because Abul sure as **** won't bag you any wickets.
If bowlers like Rubel, Shafiul and other pacers who have gone in and out of our test team haven't learned a thing during their gaps, then its highly likely Abul hasn't either and he's much much less talented than the others with the ball.

been saying this.. Riyad needs to bat lower. Not because he is not capable of a top order position but knowing our batting lineup, u always need someone dependable down the order. Shakib, Sabbir should bat higher too.. they can score runs and make the opposition go into a defence mode but they cant stop a collapse or hold down one end.

We won't know until we see him again on TV. If my memory hasn't failed me, which occasionally does.. I think I did see him bowl crap in BPL. I think got smashed around a lot in that over with his same old short and wide deliveries. However he could have been included in the warm up games to showcase the improvement he has made since then. So maybe that will happen at some point.

Mahmadullah isn't capable of batting up the order
But his 30-40 is ok down the order with the tail

Main Difference in 1st test match vs Eng is 2 pace bowler weak link can't even hold the bat, leak runs can't even take wickets.
